state, we are so glad you are here!
Please stop by the Welcome Desk for an
information packet and special gift.
This Week at Nazareth NAZ Notes
Read It! Read Micah 5:2-5a and
Matthew 2. Ponder how God raised
up from Bethlehem our Savior,
despite its small size and
insignificance. Pray about how God
might lead you to shine your light for
Him as well.
Watch It! If you have missed any of
the teachings in our current Advent
Sermon Series, Prepare for the
King, take the time to watch these
sermons on our video resource page
at https://vimeo.com/mynazareth.
Live It! As we prepare for the King
this Advent season, make the
intentional choice to conform your
life to God’s Positioning System,
which takes us to Jesus in
Bethlehem so that we may fall on
our knees and worship Him as our
Lord and King. Be invitational!
Invite your friends, family members
and neighbors to come worship with
us at Nazareth this Christmas.
Share a face-to-face invitation, a
postcard invitation or a Facebook
invitation with others so you may
reach people with His Good News of
Great Joy!

The Waterloo/Cedar Falls
Salvation Army has existed for
over 117 years to share love of
Christ as spiritual, emotional, and
physical needs are met. We are a
place where hope replaces
despair, where the lonely find a
friend, and where the hurting, the suffering, the poor,
and the needy are met with dignity and love. We are
dedicated to providing services with compassion and
an understanding that, at some point, we all need a bit
of help. Thank you, Nazareth, for your continued
support! We are especially grateful for the funds you
provided to us so that our bathrooms could be
completely renovated—a much-needed update. We
also greatly appreciate your willingness to assemble
and deliver hundreds of Christmas Food Boxes
throughout our community. For more information on
how you can help out by ringing bells for this year’s
Red Kettle Fundraiser, please sign up online at
