He is responsiblefor the execution of M&A transactions forclients in the consumer and retail sectorglobally. Andre also serves as co-chair of thefirm's Global Fairness Committee. He joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in2000 in Frankfurt, where he worked as anM&A generalist across industries in Europe.He transferred to Sydney in 2006 to coverclients in the healthcare industry in Asia andAustralia, and he moved to New York in2007. He was named vice president in 2007,managing director in 2010 and partner in2016. Andre serves on the Boards of the AtlanticCouncil in Washington, DC, and theAmerican Council on Germany in New York. Andre earned an MBA from EuropeanBusiness School in Germany in 2000 and aPhD in Finance from University of Witten in2003.
