CHURCH DAMNEDPastors facingfinancial woe asreceivers step inTHEY RAN their controversialchurch into the ground with€18million debts.

Now the bosses of Victory ChristianFellowship in Firhouse, Dublin, facemore financial woe.

Receivers have put up for rent the formerbusiness HQ of Brendan and Sheila Hade,while the homeless hostel run by playboyson Brian has been put on the market for acool €550,000.

The Bank of Irelandhad won a judgementagainst former malemodel Brian (44) –who used to own aLamborghini, a 30ftspeedboat and twohelicopters – for non-payment of a loan.

Now it is sellingB r e n t w o o d ,Ballyboden Road,Rathfarnham, Dublin,to recoup its losses.

The property initial-ly went on the marketfor €595,000, but soondropped its price by awhopping €45,000.

MassiveMeanwhile, the

upstairs offices of 33-34 Main Street,Rathfarnham, previ-ously home to severalHade businesses, hasbeen put up for rentby the receivers.

The Hades owe amassive €2m on theirown properties inaddition to the aston-ishing debts theybuilt up by Victory.

The Hades havethreatened theSunday World withlegal action for expos-ing their millionairelifestyle and massiveproperty portfolio.

We were the first toreveal in June howVictory had lost itscharitable status fol-lowing an investiga-tion by

the Revenue.The move sparked

the Bank of Scotland,which was owed €18min loans by Victory,and a further €2m bythe Hades, for two oftheir own premises, tocall in the receivers.

Revenue is now saidto be chasing hundredsof thousands of euro inunpaid taxes afterstripping awayVictory’s charity status.

The Hades brokecharity rules by run-ning commercialenterprises from thechurch complex,including a Starbucksand a restaurant.
