Overview of the Fast Track Program
A fast track program, the first of its kind in Greece
Offers an accelerated route to obtaining professional experience by
combining:
Receiving a Bachelor’s
Degree in Accounting
and Finance from the
Athens University
of Economics
and Business
Giving a unique
opportunity
to work at EY,
a top services
firm in Greece
Obtaining the globally
recognized
ACCA qualification

Unique Characteristics of the Program
Aimed at
undergraduate
students:
~30-40 students
to be enrolled
each year
Students spend
3 months each year
with EY, starting from
Year 2 – up to the
completion of their
studies; at the same
time they will attend
the ACCA education
program.
A defined and fast track
route with a dedicated
work experience element
- students will participate
in a tripartite Fast Track
Program between EY,
ACCA
and AUEB.
Unique Characteristics of the Program
Upon completion of
program, students
gain maximum
ACCA exemptions
plus successfully
completing 1 SP
paper.
EY can sponsor
students to
participate in all
remaining ACCA
exams during
employment, given
they will be hired
after their graduation.
Professional experience
9-12 months and
possibility of permanent
employment with EY
(based on EY’srecruitment needs).
aVisit at EY offices - Introduction of program.
aJanuary - end of March: Applications for the EY / ACCA / AUEB Fast Track Program.
aApril: First stage interview (stage 1 of selection process).
aJune: Invitation to Assessment Day, hosted by ACCA. Assessors to be EY representatives.
aJuly: Offers of Learning Contracts and Employment Contracts with EY to finalists.1YEAR
aStudents begin working with EY for 3 months (full-time or part-time determined
by student’s schedule and availability).
aWorking schedule pre-populated by EY; students are not expected to work
during official exam periods.
aAll EY students register with the ACCA Accelerate Program - fees covered by EY.
aStudents complete the ACCA Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM) at the end of Year 2.2YEAR
aStudents continue working with EY for 3-4 months (full-time or part-time determined
by student’s schedule and availability).
aWorking schedule pre-populated by EY; students are not expected to work
during exam periods.
aApplications for late joiners will be open from October until the end of November -
interviews to be held in December, with new joiners starting in January of Year 3.
aStudents attend an ACCA Skills Session, hosted by ACCA, as part of the ACCA interaction activity.3YEAR
aStudents continue working with EY for 3-4 months (full-time or part-time determined
by student’s schedule and availability).
aWorking schedule pre-populated by EY; students are not expected to work
during exam periods.
aStudents are awarded Conditional Exemptions and prepare for the SP Paper, supported by the
University or a Learning Provider, to prepare for September’s exam period.
aEY extends offers to selected students, by the end of summer - decisions are made
in April of Year 4.
