Papa Gene let his candles burn
down considerably on his last
birthday because he said he
couldn’t think of anything for
which to wish. What a blessing
that he had that mindset on his
last birthday……I’m so thankful I
zoomed in on those candles that
teach such a marvelous lesson
of a life well-lived and also a
lesson in finding contentment in
life’s true treasures.
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.
