WHY A PEEPS SHOWThe Peeps returned for UNH's most groundbreaking art exhibit of the year!
UNH Health Services brings the UNH Peeps Show to the UNH community in an effort to encourage creativity and self-awareness about the variety of ways one can be healthy and well at UNH.
Health is much more than eating well and exercising, and each year the dioramas created for the UNH Peeps Show illustrate that very point.
For more about health and wellness, we invite you to visit www.unh.edu/health-

PEEPles Take On College WoodsHow Do I Stay Healthy at UNH? Like my
“PEEPles”, I like to hike, jog and take leisurely walks through College Woods.
Working at UNH affords me a wonderful environment to stay healthy while enjoying the great outdoors right in our own Durham backyard. What better way to take in the crisp spring air than to follow the meandering trails, all the while enjoying nature’s beauty and getting fit. I first discovered College Woods in 1981 while a student at UNH. Over the next four years, involved in ROTC, I navigated through the woods, day and night, getting to know my surroundings.
Now, 33 years later, I still love to wander along those very trails which, year after year, continue to offer me endless opportunities for physical exercise and mental rejuvenation. If you haven’t been out there, grab your water bottle, hiking shoes or sneakers and get moving! You will be glad that you did!

Hanging with My Peeps on T-Hall You have peeps enjoying each others
company doing a variety of things. Our lovely sunbathers are relaxing after hard exams. We have peeps playing frizzbee and soccer getting some exercise. The skateboarder and walkers are out adventuring or possibly burning calories walking to class. Don’t forget our peep chilling in the hammock. Everyone of them is enjoying the sunshine including the peep with the broken foot he even had a few friends sign his cast. Being outside and active on UNH’s walking campus is just part of how me and my peeps stays healthy here at UNH.

UNH IT Walks with FitBits
When UNH IT peeps walk from West Edge to campus, we wear our FitBits.
This Diorama depicts typical lunchtime activity of our staff walking the path between Main Campus and West Edge enjoying the nature while getting healthy. Along the way we see horses, flowers, and wildlife. Wearing a FitBit allows us to keep track of calories burned, number of steps, how many hours we sleep, and more.

“Let’s Get Physical!” at UNH Here at SHARPP we love that UNH Rec
provides many different classes for our students to stay healthy, fit and stress free at UNH. In our diorama we focused on an exercise class that should be offered here at UNH. JAZZERCISING! There is Zumba but we at SHARPP love to stay jumping around and active. We also have a strong appreciation for the eighties. One of our Student Workers named her car Olivia Newton John. So we decided we would do a jazzercising class in the UNH Rec, because we stay healthy by Dancing!

Peep Pool Party We decided to create a diagram of Peeps at
the UNH outdoor pool. We showed our peeps performing typical summertime instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). Their occupations include swimming, diving, life guarding, sun bathing (with sunscreen), tossing a ball, snorkeling and safely swimming with flotation devices. These activities help to relieve stress and create a healthier college student!

Pool Party Peeps Our diorama is depicting a UNH swim meet
at the Swasey indoor pool, with students competing and watching the event and showing their UNH pride. This signifies how we stay healthy at UNH through the exercise received from swimming, while also showing social health through interaction with the others around us. These two occupations work together in making individuals lifestyles healthier by decreasing stress and allowing us to stay active.

Peeps Play at Quad Way There’s never a dull moment at the Upper
Quad! Being a resident in a dorm means lots of different activities go on- all of which promote health and wellness. Whether it’s filling up your water bottle at a hydration station or playing frisbee with friends in the courtyard, the opportunities are endless. In addition, the Upper Quad recently banned smoking in the courtyard to promote an even healthier environment. The occupation of being a student at UNH is made easier with a healthy, active lifestyle.

Strolling With My Peeps We like to stay healthy at UNH by
walking instead of driving everywhere we go! This picture shows the peeps “strolling” down Main Street with Thompson Hall in the background and wildcat paw prints in front of them. Our diorama shows there are many more peeps walking than driving which should be promoted through out UNH’s campus. By walking everywhere on campus instead of driving, we are promoting healthier life styles at UNH!

The Winners Are…
Peeps at the Pool There are many ways to stay healthy at UNH. One
thing I like to do is head over to the Swasey Pool for a lap swim and a relaxing dip in the water. Active events periodically take place at the pool including pool kayaking, SCUBA classes and even swimming lessons!Artist:

M.V.PeepI chose to represent healthy living at UNH through one of the school’s most treasured past times: football! One of my favorite aspects of this school lies in its sense of community. You can’t walk more than 50 feet without seeing someone wearing a UNH shirt or sweatshirt or just anything that has the Wildcat logo on it. Football, along with hockey, are sports that the fans flock to. The school pride in itself makes you feel exhilarated! Healthy living should entail things that people love doing, such as attending football games or even playing in them. Walking to the field, running on the turf, and hydrating are all things that happen at a field that has to do with healthy living. I hope you enjoy my diorama and that it adequately embodies the spirited nature of your very own Wildcats!

4 Seasons of Health UNH campus gives you the opportunity to stay healthy throughout the year! In the spring, intramural sports such as volleyball are easy to join. During the summer, the Durham Outdoor Pool is perfect to swim some laps in. College Woods is a beautiful place to walk or jog in the fall, and cross-country skiing trails are open during the winter at Kingman Farm. Outdoor on-campus activities are always available, and they are excellent for relieving stress and developing physical fitness.

Peep Into Stress Relief at UNH Our Peeps Shows entitled “Peep Into Stress Relief at
UNH”. Our goal in creating this diorama is to show the importance of meaningful occupations to alleviate some of the stress we as UNH students all experience daily. Between classes, papers, financial concerns and other issues students constantly find themselves stressed out.
We’ve included in our diorama some activities students can do to alleviate this stress-- these include(L)yoga; (M-B) relaxing on ”T-hall lawn”; playing frisbee on ”T-hall lawn”; (M-F) heading over to Mendum’s Pond to rent a kayak, go for a sail with the sailing team, or row with the rowing team;(R) go for a run or join in for the annual half naked whole mile!
In order to stay healthy at UNH it is important to be involved in meaningful occupations that are important to us individually for stress-relief, to learn new things, meet new people, and of course, just for
fun! Getting away from the daily grind is important to stress-free college student life!
