The New BirthWhat is the New Birth?“Regeneration is God speaking. It is a matter of God creating. The new birth is a new creation.” – D. Wilson2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus
Christ. – 2 Corinthians 4:6
The New BirthWhy is it ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY?“The unregenerate heart can understand the holiness of God and flee from Him, or misunderstand it, and try to attain to it on its own. Only the converted heart can see the holiness as gladness, and the gladness as righteousness, and the righteousness as glory, and love all of it.” – Doug Wilson

one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” – John 3:3

without which no one will see the Lord. – Hebrews 12:14
2 – To Know Who God IsThe natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him,
and he is not able to understand them becausethey are spiritually discerned.
– 1 Corinthians 2:14
2 – To Know Who God IsIt is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to
you are spirit and life. – John 6:63
3 – To Worship God“God is spirit, and those who worship him must
worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:24

is the power of God. – 1 Corinthians 1:18
4 – To Really LoveBeloved, let us love one another, for love is
from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love
does not know God, because God is love.– 1 John 4:7-8
4 – To Really LoveIf anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his
brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God
whom he has not seen. – 1 John 4:20
5 – To Have God as Your Father
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. – John 3:6
5 – To Have God as Your Father
I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything, but he is
under guardians and managers until the date set by his father. In the same way we also, when we were children, were
enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of
woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And
because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
– Galatians 4:1-7

Conclusion“The Bible teaches that there are only two tables in the world—the Table of the Lord and the table of demons. Corresponding to this, there are only two kinds of table
manners. One kind of person receives what is passed to him, and another kind grabs what he wants. The former is
suitable for the Table of the Lord, and the latter is hellish…His Word has promised an abundant portion for all His sons and daughters. Are you a son or daughter? Then there is no
need to grab. If you are not a true son or daughter, then grabbing won’t help. Grabbing doesn’t work.”
