Thank you for your past support!
What an incredible year 2016 has been at Seed Ministry! God has
blessed us in so many ways. It’s hard to know how to even start, but top
of the list has to be the Bible Clubs. Bob challenged our Ministry and the
Bible Club Area Leaders to bring 2,016 more children into Bible Clubs in
2016. We have been so blessed to start 23 new Bible Clubs in the Kete-
Kratche area. Ebenezer, a 2015 CLTA graduate, has caught the vision
of how Bible Clubs bring both children and their families into the King-
dom and into the church. We also have been able to have the Founda-
tion Training north in Bolgatanga with 4 Bible Clubs starting along with 8 new clubs in the oth-
er areas for a total of 299 Bible Clubs!!!!
The 2nd thing on the list would have to be CLTA classes. All 3 locations are ranging from
35 to 55 in number of students regularly attending. The students are doing their best to keep
up with their lessons. It is not easy for them as
most have never gone to school and many do not
know how to read. Yet, they are trying to learn and
enjoy the teaching. We do oral translation for eve-
rything that is taught. We are also in the process of
translating all their books into their languages. It is
definitely a God-sized project but we have almost
completed 2 terms (4th mths per term) of the Disci-
ple Curriculum into 3 of the languages - Dagbani,
Likpapaaln and Likoonl. That is something only
God could have accomplished.
CLTA, some went to Bible Clubs, some went to schools, some went hut to hut evangelism, some
preached Crusades, some painted buildings, and some did all those things! ALL of them blessed
many people in Ghana and were blessed themselves in the process.
One more example of God-sized, God working, things this year was
the Jirandogo generator going out. Two days later, when we were back
in Tamale, we received an email from a friend who asked of any big
needs and we shared about the generator; but we had not priced them
yet so we did not give her any kind of estimate. She immediately sent
$1,000 not realizing the size of the generator to run the property. As
Bob began to get estimates, they were running from $10,000 up. He
quickly decided to look for used ones and found one for $8,000. The day before we published that
amount as a need, unknown to us, someone had donated $7,000 through a church for any need
we might have! Through the two donations God had prepared for the exact amount that was
needed!
God took what we thought would be a real stretch on the Bible Club numbers and surpassed it.
He accomplished more books being translated than we thought possible, brought more team
members to help share the work load, and provided the funds for an emergency before we even
knew we needed it. Isn’t that just the way God works!!! You can never out give God - You can
never out work God - You can never out love God!!! He ALWAYS has a better plan than we do.
Now as we plan for 2017, with the incredible growth in 2016, we know the cost of continuing
these ministries increases our budget, and we are asking for more people to pray about joining us
as financial supporters. We also ask you to pray about being one of those team members who
come and work alongside us in Ghana. We would love to see you there! Bob and Bonnie
