WELCOME TO ICACCI-2015, KOCHI
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to welcome you to an exciting technical programoffered by the fourth International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications andInformatics (ICACCI-2015) and to Kochi. ICACCI is the yearly Asia’s Flagship conference. Since its inaugu-ration in 2012, ICACCI has developed into a reputed conference and is well attended by experts in all aspectsrelated to computing and information from all over the world. It provides an excellent forum for exchangeof ideas among interested researchers, students, developers, and practitioners in the areas of computing, communications, and informatics. This edition is organized by SCMS School of Engineering and Technology(SSET), SCMS Group of Institutions in association with IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Systems, Man,and Cybernetics Society and ACM Trivandrum Chapter.
The conference features 55 contributed paper sessions, 1 industry track session, 11 tutorials, 17 plenary/keynote sessions, poster/demo sessions, doctoral consortium, panel discussion, few co-affiliated sympo-siums and special sessions. The technical sessions also include presentation of accepted papers fromInternational Symposium on Intelligent Systems Technologies and Applications (ISTA’15), thirdInternational Symposium on Women in Computing and Informatics (WCI-2015), third InternationalSymposium on Security in Computing and Communications (SSCC’15), second International Symposiumon Computer Vision and the Internet (VisionNet’15) and fourth Student Research Symposium (SRS’15).
We received a record number of 2915 submissions this year with 1712 manuscripts for the main conference, out of which 404 (365 regular papers and 39 poster papers) have been accepted. The accepted and presentedpapers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as otherAbstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. The co-located events WCI’15, SSCC’15, ISTA’15 andVisionNet’15 attracted 452 (121 accepted), 157(49), 250 (89) and 344 (96) submissions respectively.
WCI serves as a platform to explore the opportunities as well as the diverse challenges facing women incomputing and allied areas. The symposium is organized in association with Association for ComputingMachinery (ACM) Trivandrum Professional Chapter, ACM Cochin Chapter, ACM Committee on Women inComputing (ACM-W) India and IWNN of INNS India – Regional Chapter. All accepted and presentedpapers of WCI’15 will be archived in the ACM Digital Library. All accepted papers of SSCC’15 will be pub-lished by Springer in Communications in Computer and Information Science Series (CCIS). ISTA’15 aims tobring together researchers in related fields to explore and discuss various aspects of intelligent systems tech-nologies and their applications. The proceedings of the symposium will be published by Springer in theprestigious Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series. The proceedings of Second InternationalSymposium on Computer Vision and the Internet (VisionNet’15) will be published by Elsevier in theProcedia Computer Science Journal. The fourth Student Research Symposium (SRS’15) provides an oppor-tunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students to interact with leaders from academia, industry andresearch agencies. Research Publishing, Singapore publishes the proceedings of SRS’15.
The success of the conference depends ultimately on the numerous people who have worked with us inplanning and organizing both the technical program and supporting local arrangements. In particular, wethank the Program Chairs, Industry Track Chairs, Special Track Chairs, Tutorial Chairs, Doctoral ConsortiumChairs, Demo/Posters Track Chairs, Publication Chairs, and Workshop and Symposium Chairs for theirwise advice and brilliant suggestion on organizing the technical program. We would like to extend our deep-est appreciation to the keynote speakers, special sessions organizers, workshop organizers, tutorialpresenters, panel organizers and panelists, and the entire technical program committee, organizing commit-tee and steering committee teams. Moreover, our sincere gratitude should be given to all authors whosubmitted their work to ICACCI’15.
We thank the SCMS Group of Institutions for hosting the conference. Sincere thanks to Dr. G. P. C. NAYAR,Founder & Chairman, SCMS Group for his valuable suggestions and encouragement. Also we would like to
