TheTraf icwareModel340ITSCabinetisdesignedusingadvancedtechnologyandmodularitytoprovidestate‐of‐the‐art transportationcontrol.Thiscabinet meetsandexceedsv1.02.17bofthe Joint AASHTO/ITE/NEMA speci ications for ITS Cabinets. The cabinet’s modular designexempli ies interchangeabilitywith it’s ability to conform topresentand futureassembliesandapplications.

Traf icware’s340Cabinetfeaturesthree24‐channelinput iles,a6pack,anda14packoutputileassembly.EachoftheseassembliescontainsaSerialInterfaceUnitsocketforanSIUcard.Thiscardmakessystemexpansioneasierwitha614Kbaudrate.AlongwiththeSerialInterfaceUnit,theoutput ilesalsocontainanAuxiliaryMonitorUnitsocket.

The 340 Cabinet provides a facility for con igurations by conveniently placing a variety ofpower buses and serial connectors throughout. Each cabinet contains a standard PowerDistributionAssembly,andrackmount12/24VDCswitchpowersupplyunit.
