Protection Group Select the 1+1 SD/FD/HSB protection from
the Working Mode drop-down list.
Use the
default
value. Select a working IF board and a
protection IF board. In the case of 1+1
FD/SD protection group, the working
board and protection boards must be
configured in two paired slots.

The AM function is disabled by default (keep disable).
These two parameters are available only when Enable AM is set to Enabled.
This parameter is available only when Enable AM is set to Disabled (Change based on LLD)
Set this parameter by strictly conforming to the design. The number of E1 services on both ends of a hop of a radio link hop. (Keep default)
Set the transmit frequency and the
transmit power. (follow MW LLD)
Used for recording performance events. The parameters are valid only when the ATPC function is enabled. Set the parameters according to the network planning documents.
If the OptiX RTN 900 is interconnected with the Packet radio equipment, this parameter is set to Enabled. Otherwise, this parameter is set to Disabled. (keep Disable)

Change RTN IP, Gateway, Subnet mask
Procedure
Select the NE from the Object Tree
in the NE Explorer. Choose
Communication > Communication
Parameters from the Function Tree.
Configure the communication
parameters of the NE.
Click Apply.
(Follow NE ID/IP sheet from Huawei)
By default NE IP follow NE ID & no
need to change it, just double
check.

NE Performance Monitoring Time
Procedure In the NE Explorer, select the NE from the Object Tree, and then choose Performance > NE Performance Monitoring Time from the Function Tree. Configure the performance monitoring parameters of the NEs.
Select 15-Minute or 24-Hour. Select Enabled or Disabled in Set 15-Minute Monitoring or Set 24-Hour Monitoring. Set the start time and end time of the performance monitoring of NEs.
