power equipment, or get equipment serviced, but do
you know which shop is actually locally owned?

Louis here. . . Wow a lot has beengoing on this month! First off the Ten-nis Tournament. My buddy Darwinand his family arrived and we had a lotof fun. Running in the yard, playingwith toys, etc. However, I am not al-
ways a good host. That is to say, whenDarwin got up on the couch in my spot,I was not a happy camper. I shouldshare, but that is my SPOT! So Mompicked me up and let me sit on her sideof the couch. Much better. One daythey left both of us at home alone. Thatwas OK because we get along. Heknows how to use my door to go in andout so we were able to play and thensnooze. While he was on the couch inmy spot, I could sleep on Dad's chair,
'cause he was not there! But, his folkscame home early and took him out todinner with them. I was left all alone. Not happy about that. When Mom andDad came home, I let them know justhow unhappy I was. I wouldn't greetthem at the door, I just sat on the couchand stared at them. When they cameover to pet me, I just put my head downand wouldn't even look at them. WhenDad asked for a kiss, I turned my head
and looked at him, then buried my headbehind the pillow! I was mad! Darwinleft and I was all alone. They couldhave taken me too! Anyway I didn'ttalk to them all night! Mom had to car-ry me to my room to go to bed, becauseI wouldn't even get up off the couch.
The next morning, I was good togo again. Can't stay mad too long orthey might not feed me or something.Anyway after 5 days Darwin and hisfamily left. Next to arrive was Dave
and Pat. I like them because they knowmy name and pet me. In the morningI go out to greet Dave as he sits in thesun reading. I like that. His car smellslike a dog too. Never met the dog, buthear her name is Bella. She must bebig, as her smells are all the way up theside of the car. In the morning I run outto their car and circle it following theBella Smells!
Another week of staying homealone. Mom and Dad work manyhours for the tournament. But finallyit's over! They will be back home with
me and take me for my evening runs onthe golf course.
Wow, Paulette and Mark next doorhave company. Their daughter and herboyfriend arrived with two dogs in tow! They are Boston terrors, I mean terriers,
Rukus and Lucy. Lucy is a very ag-gressive female! Rukus is much nicerthan she is. He and I can run and playtogether, when he is not trying to humpme. But when Lucy gets into the mix,she tries to cut me off from Rukus andwe end up growling at each other.
Boy is she an Alpha dog! When werun on the golf course, Ruk and I runtogether. If she comes, it is a mess!Three of any kind don't mix, especiallywhen the third is an aggressive female!
Rukus loves to swim, but not Lucy somuch. They took me swimming oneday in their pool. Had to have my lifejacket on or I would sink l ike a brick. But I am not as fond of water as youmight think. I like to drink it, sit onthe wet grass at night to cool down, butswim in it? Not so much!
Anyway at the end of the day, thethree of us are really tired. I go to thefence during the day and watch them
play. If my mom goes over there, thenI just whine, because I want to go!.They let Rukus come over to my yardand play 'cause we two get along well, but not with Lucy, she just watches usand whines now and then, but I don'tthink she cares to come over much. Iam glad she doesn't!
They are here for another week, butwe are taking a road trip up north so Iwill not see them next week. I am go-ing to visit my cousin Jax! I will let
you know how that goes, next time!
