OUR PARISH CHURCH: Debt Collection
December donations totaled $6046
December payment is $7687
This weekend we have the monthly Debt
Collection. Approximately $530,135 remains on the
debt for our church building. We are most grateful to
all who are faithful to this area of parish life. If you do
not receive envelopes and would like to help with the
debt, simply use a check (with Debt notation) or a
plain envelope labeled Debt. Parishioners who give
online should use the SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
category.
For Your INFORMATION: Parish Support
Thank you for your faithfulness
We thank our parishioners for their faithful support of
our parish, their support of the monthly church debt
payment, their support of our parish mission projects,
the maintenance/building collection and their support
of the special collections. By law parishioners who
itemize deductions for income tax purposes must
have bank records or receipts from the parish in
order to deduct contributions to the parish on their
tax returns. In order for the parish to be able to
provide a parishioner with the required receipt,
parishioners are encouraged to use parish envelopes
or online giving. As an alternative, using a check to
make weekly contributions will provide
the parishioner with the required documentation to
support the deduction. Parishioners who have
made a parish donation with envelopes, checks
or online giving will automatically receive a
record of the donation before January 31.

WEEK of PRAYER for CHRISTIAN UNITY
We pray for reconciliation and unity
From January 18-25 we observe the annual Week of
Prayer for Christian Unity. This year’s week of prayer
focuses on the theme “they showed us unusual
kindness’. During this week we pray that we may be
respectful of the differences among Christian beliefs,
and that we will continue to work for the unity of
Christians.

Jesus is prompting you to be part of the
revelation of Christ to man as a priest, or in the
consecrated life, contact Father Matthew Mason
(663-0132 or [email protected]).
This week we join our prayers with the Sunday
Rosary Group as we pray for Vocations and our
Parish Mission Projects.
Parishioners who are going to have surgery or
who are dealing with a serious illness are
encouraged to receive the SACRAMENT of the
SICK. Please see Father John. The anointing can
take place after a weekday or weekend Mass.
Perhaps a member of your family or a friend is
considering “reconnecting” with the Church.
Talk to them about it; listen to their
apprehensions; perhaps invite them to join you
for Mass or a parish event. And pray for them.
