FROM THE OWNERFive words that are music to my ears: Season tickets are sold out! Our team’s consistent performance (6 playoffs in the past 7 seasons) has resulted in a sold-out stadium for the regular season. And…the team will be playing, not only for its local fans, but for fans around the country with three, and possibly, four prime-time appearances.

Since the start of the 1999 season, the Colts have the best regular season record in the NFL (77-35). The next closest team is six full games behind us. Our seasoned veterans, along with our talented draft picks and free agency players, will continue our spirited rivalry in the AFC South. Our division has existed for 68 weeks and we’ve been the AFC South leader for 61 of those weeks. Jacksonville, Houston and Tennessee will each provide stiff competition, making our division one of the toughest in the league.

Highlighting our season will be games with rival teams from the NFC East – the Redskins, Cowboys, Giants and Eagles. Our game with Cincinnati, a formidable rival just 90 miles away, will be showcased on the national telecast of Monday Night Football. The season will also include home games with Miami and Buffalo and away games with the Broncos, Jets and Patriots.

In the shadow of the RCA Dome this season, you can watch the development underway for the Lucas Oil Stadium which will be ready for our 2008 season. This is an incredibly exciting project and will produce the most fan-friendly stadium in the NFL. We’ll share more about the building and its great features throughout the year.

Have a great season and…

Go Colts!

Jim Irsay

NEW FROM THE LEAGUEFlex SchedulingAs part of NBC’s agreement to televise Sunday night football, the NFL will implement a fl exible schedule for Sunday start times for seven of the fi nal eight weeks of the season. This will allow the NFL to bring more attractive matchups to a national audience late in the season, and allow teams having breakout years to play their way onto the Sunday night schedule on NBC.

The 2006 NFL schedule will list start times for all games during the fl ex weeks as 1:00 ET except for games played in the Mountain or Pacifi c Time zones, which will be listed at 4:05 ET or 4:15 ET. The Sunday night game will be listed as TBD. For the 2006 season, fl exible scheduling will occur in Weeks 10-15 and Week 17. Week 16 is a holiday weekend and will not be subject to fl exible scheduling.

Twelve days (12) prior to the scheduled Sunday games in each fl ex week, the NFL will decide (after consultation with CBS, FOX and NBC) and announce the game being moved to 8:30 ET and also may announce games moving to 4:15 ET. (For the Week 17 games, the decision may be made on six days (6) notice to ensure a Sunday night game with playoff implications.)

Fans planning to attend during fl exible scheduled weeks should be aware they may have to adjust their plans in the event of a change in the kickoff time.

NFL Pat DownsYou and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the RCA Dome. By tendering your ticket and entering the RCA Dome, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against the Colts, the NFL, its member clubs, their affi liates, CIB, City or their agents. If you elect not to consent to the searches, you will be denied entry into the RCA Dome. Please arrive early to help alleviate delays at the gates.
