GENERAL INFORMATIO
1-1. GENERAL. The C-130 auxilliary power unit fault analmethod composed of two elements: the Fault Reporting ManuManual (FIM).
NOTE
Ground maintenance crews may also use FRM
in Chapter 17 of TO 1C-130(A)H-2-00FR-00-1, 1C-130H-2-00FR-00-1, or Chapter 18 of TO 1C-1) to gain the same results as described in the

c. Fault Code Indexes. The fault code indexes list all applicabnumerical order. Each fault code represents a peculiar malfunction which could be encountered by the flight crew. A figure and block ncode tells where to go in the fault isolation diagram to start the actassigned fault code numbers between 4900001 and 4900199 represfailures, and are subdivided as follows:

(3) Fault Codes. Any number in the upper right corneblocks will not have a fault code, and a few will contain two are used to make sure troubleshooting starts at the block nuindex.
(4) Test Points. A block may contain a test point symwhen an electrical measurement is specified. A note identifithe test point is located. The test points on a schematic diagthe measurement being made. Test point number 1 is alwayschematic diagram. Test points 2 and up then generally go arotation. A single test point reference for voltage measuremreferenced to airplane ground.
