designed to “promoting scho-lastic achievement, creative

accomplishment, and healthy living and community involve-ment for America’s teens.”

Oregon’s Outstanding Teen Competition is a pro-

gram for young ladies 13 to 17 years of age. The competition is intended to encourage and reward scholastic achieve-ment, communication skills,

talent and community service. In preparation for the competi-tion, all contestants will attend a “Pageant Camp” workshop being held in Seaside, Oregon.

This concentrated workshop is aimed at helping each par-ticipant build success skills, unique to her, in a number of

scholarship applications, in-terview skills and techniques,health tips, grooming andmake-up demonstrations, afashion show and much more.
