Start a new game bselecting NEW, ocontinue a game bchoosing a savegame
Select ERASE to delete save filesone at a time.
♦ Be careful, as deleted datacannot be recovered.
Select COPY to copy the file.

5 Saving Your Game
Hit a Save Block while in stage or town to save ingame. To continue from thSave Block, select the towor the stage where you last saved.
The game saves automatically whenexiting to the world map.

8 Stage Progression
Get a comet piece tcomplete a stage
♦ Once you've collected them all,on subsequent visits, you canpre to return to theworld map.
Defeat the boss in the last stage ofa world and get a Royal Sticker(p. 10) to complete the world.
Get to restore Mario's HP.

Mario's HP goes down if he gets hitby an object thrown by an enemy ina stage, attacked during battle,poisoned, and so on. If his HPreaches zero, the game will end andyou will return to the title screen.
If you find this, your maHP will go up by 5. Youcurrent HP will bcompletely restored awell. You can also get HP Plushearts after completing events.

9 Stage Puzzles
Press to turthe stage into sheet of paper sthat you can sticstickers and scrapon it (p. 10). It will help you solvepuzzles.
Use the wooden bridge scrap torestore the bridge, allowing you tocross the river.

After a certaipoint in the gamMario can pay tuse the BattlSpinner. Matcicons to increase the number ofstickers Mario can use in one turn.Also, icons give various bonuses. Ifyou spend additional coins, it willbecome easier to match icons.Even if you have the opportunity touse two or more stickers, you mayuse fewer if you wish. Simplychoose at least one sticker and thenpress to send Mario into action.
