Attention

1. Do not reset the NVR (Network Video Recorder, the black/ white box) back to Factory

Setting to avoid cameras going offline. Once you did, you will not be able to view cameras,

and it will take some time to set everything back up for proper use.

2. To prevent your system from being hacked, please set up password for system for the first

time.

3. Pre-test before installing: simply power on the kit and see if cameras and NVR work well. It

is a must to have cameras show up on the monitor before installing them in their final

locations.

4. Contents/Reference pictures in the manual might be different from the object due to

hardware or software upgrading.

Safety Caution

1. NVR be away from water/no fluid container on it.

2. Utilize the product in cool places.

3. Use the specific power supplies in the package.(One for NVR, the other 4/8 smaller ones for

cameras)

4. NVR operating temperature: 14°F~131°F; camera working temperature: -4°F~140°F.

5. Dust may cause a short circuit, if happens, please clean the PCB.

6. Please utilize the product under the law.

Applications

1. The NVR needs a monitor with VGA port/HD output to work with it. (except for the model

with built-in monitor)

2. The system cannot record without a hard drive, only 3.5” SATA hard drive fit for the NVR box.

Please make sure the kit you purchased is HDD pre-installed or not.

3. Keep the NVR online by connecting it to the router would allow the user to have remote

viewing via phone/tablet, etc.

Preparation:

1. Screw the antennas on cameras and plug cameras into power source (12V 1A power

adapter)

2. Screw the antennas on the NVR box and plug the NVR into power (12V 2A power adapter)

3. Connect the NVR to a standalone monitor via its HD output/VGA port, and power on them.

(Monitor is not necessary for the system with built-in screen; laptop cannot be used as a

monitor; do not connect a PC monitor to the PC and NVR box at the same time; cables for

HD output and VGA port are not included in the kit)

4. Within seconds, you should see cameras’ video on screen.

5. Plug the mouse into USB port on the rear panel of NVR and start operating.

Default User Name: admin

Password: None ( leave it blank and click【OK】)

for the first time: right click the mouse-->【System Setup】-->【System Admin】-->【User】-->

【Set password】

How to Change Time Zone?

Right click the mouse, click【System Setup】-->【General Setup】-->【Time setup】to change

the time zone (Worldwide Time zone), Finally click 【Apply】. The system’s time will be

automatically updated (see the picture below)

Positioning and Mounting

Camera adapter is about 10 feet long. Please confirm all adapters can work before installing

To have better signal, the camera antennas should be paralleled with the NVR antennas.

Mount the bracket

1. Please mark the installation position before drilling holes on the wall.

2. Drill three holes on the wall or ceiling.

3. Insert the plastic tubes in the holes (green or white ones in the screw bag in each camera

box). drill the screws and have the camera fixed on the wall. (see the left picture as below)

Adjust the angle of the bracket

Use the L shape wrench (in the screw bag in each camera box) to loosen the bracket first, then

adjust any angle you want (see the right picture above)

Step 1: Connect the NVR and router with an Ethernet cable ( WAN port for NVR, LAN port for

router). Wait until see the Device ID and the status shows “ONLINE” on the right bottom

corner (Note: Make sure do not use the Cloud ID shows on the picture below, it is just an

example)

>> If the status does not change to “ONLINE”, please double check the Ethernet cable

connection.

>> If it is not the issue above, please right click your mouse on screen, go to【System Setup】-->

【Network Setup】; Enable the【DHCP】-->【Apply】(see the picture as below).

Step 4: Click【+】on the right upper corner --> select【Cloud ID】(find out the ID from Step 1

and input it, see the pictures as below)

Description: Type a device name

User Name: default: “admin”

Attention: the username & password should be the same one you use to log in system on screen

as picture below (NVR monitor), if you have updated the password, please type the updated one

here.

Password: default(leave it blank, do not input anything)

Channels: select “4” or “8” according to your camera quantity.

Step 5: Tab “save” to Submit it to the device list.

Step 6: Click on any channel to open all cameras’ live video. Click on “SD” to select video

quality.

Set Motion Alert on Mobile App

Step 1: Right click the mouse, click【System setup】-->【Channel Setup】

Step2: Click【Video detection】to do alarm setting. When you have done setting for channel-1,

you can choose 【Copy to】-->【Apply】to enable other channels have the same setting.

Step3: Enable【APP Alarm】to enable mobile app push alerts on your smart phone.

Step4: Start 【motion detection】on mobile app. Login in your mobile app account, find【Me】

at the bottom of your app --> click【Alarm Setting】-->turn on【Alarm Setting】

Step5: Make sure the【Allow Notifications】in the setting of your mobile phone is on.

Download and install the CMS software on your computer.

Step 1: Start the CMS software and log in.

Step2: Enter your cloud ID, user name and password, then click add.

Default user name: admin;

Step 3: Go to the preview page and you will see the device was successfully added and listed on

the right. Click on device name to view the cameras’ live video. You may need to wait a few

seconds for the system to connect

Note: Please confirm the kit you purchased is HDD pre-installed, if not, there’s no way to play

video record. Please see Applications on page 1)

Installing a hard drive (if your system has pre-installed a hard drive, please go to Step 5

straightly)

Step1: Turn off the NVR, unscrew it and remove the cover.

Step2: Plug the SATA and data cables into the corresponding ports on HDD.

Step3: Place the HDD. (mind the cables and don’t twine)

Step4: Hold the hard drive and turn the NVR over, position the screw holes on the HDD to the

holes on NVR, screw and fix the HDD.

Step5: Right click the mouse, go to【System setup】-->【General Setup】-->【HDD setup】, tick

【√】in the box--> click【Format】

2. Record video

Right click the mouse --> Go to【System setup】-->【Record Setup】--> You shall see the record

settings for all channels. The default record setting is 24 hours full day for all channels. Change

the record setting according to your preference and apply the change.

Recording Modes

Default Recording Mode: 24*7 continuous recording.

Time Scheduled Recording: set time periods you want the NVR to record. Right click the mouse

--> 【System Setting】-->【Record Setting】You will see 4 periods settable.

Motion Detected Recording: Motion Record means to record only when movement is detected.

Right click the mouse -->【System Setting】--> 【Record Setting】. By unselecting Time and

selecting Motion, the channel will record only when motion detected.

Tips: “Copy to” button. When you change the settings, it only applies to channel 1 by default. If

you want to apply the change to all channels, please click “Copy to” to copy the setting to all

channels.

Step 1: Playback on screen/monitor

Right click the mouse -->【Video playback】--> Choose how many minutes you want to playback

or【Manual search】--> Choose the channel you want to play back--> click【Search】--> click

【Playback】

Step 2: Playback on mobile

Play back videos in the HDD on your mobile. Run the App --> click【Playback】--> choose【date

and channel】--> click【Search】. You should see the video list, and then play back the video on

mobile.

Backup the video with USB flash disk:

Plug the disk to the USB port on the rear panel of NVR -->Right click the mouse-->【Video

Backup】--> choose the channel and time period --> click【Search】--> Choose the video clips

you want to backup --> click【Backup】.

Note: If there are only one USB port on your NVR, please use the USB HUB to backup video.
