Change of Pace
“…Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked
out for us.” Hebrews 12:1
1. Solitude: Practice Prayer & Reflection
Why? Remove noise and distraction“…the news about Him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Luke 5:15,16
2. Rest: Physical And Emotional
Why? In order to revive/rebuild our physical bodiesRemember to rest. Exodus 20:8-10
3. Choices: Make Wise Ones Daily
Why? Without a plan time is lost, effort is wasted, life thrown away.
“Don’t let the world squeeze you into its mold.” Romans 12:1
4. Move: Measured Advance Continually
Why? Too fast you don’t enjoy it. Too Slow and you get too little of it.“…Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” He. 12:1

3. INQUIRE: Search the Word
“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7, ESV)
4. DEVOTED: Passion for God“O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.” (Psalm 63:1-3, NIV)
5. EXPERIENCE: Presence of the Holy Spirit
“Speak Lord, for your servant is listening.”
1 Samuel 3:9 and 10, NIV

Our Challenge: Life Makers
Like a river glorious is God's perfect peace,Over all victorious in its bright increase.Perfect yet it floweth, fuller every day,Perfect yet it groweth deeper all the way.Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest,Finding as He promised, perfect peace and rest.Every joy or trial, falleth from above,Traced upon our dial, by the Sun of love.We may trust Him fully, all for us to do;They who trust Him wholly, find Him wholly true.
