SAP OUTBOUND IDOC CONFIGURATION FOR BIZTALK
1. Login To 400 Client (Development client)
2. Goto T-Code SALE
3. BASIC SETTINGSLOGICAL SYSTEMSDEFINE LOGICAL SYSTEM
4. Cross client information shall pop up : CLICK ON TICK
5. Click on New entries
6. Enter the logical name and description
7. Click on Save button
8. Select the correct Request and click on tick mark
9. Exit
10. Goto SM 59( for defining RFC Destination)
11. For Biztalk select TCP/IP Connections
12. Click on Add
13. Enter the Logical name we put in step 6. Also enter the Description
14. Select Registered server Program in Technical setting and give a Program Id(Naming convention
to be followed is “PI_” Logical system
15. Goto Unicode tab
16. Select Unicode. An information box shall be shown. Click on the tick mark
17. Click on Save. (Do not do connection test now. We need to configure Program id in Biztalk. Then
only connection test be success)
18. Log in to testing client (430)
19. Goto t code bd64
20. Click on edit button
21. Select the proper model view (you can create a model view if needed by clicking create model
view). For outbound idoc to Biztalk select MV_EAISAP(Model view for SAP Outbound- Biztalk
Inbound)
22. Expand model view
23. Click on “Add Message type”
24. Enter all values in all text boxes
a. Model view the model view created
b. Logical system we created for SAP
c. Logical system created in step 6
d. Message type we mapped for IDOC
25. Click on Save
26. Select the message type we added in the tree view and Click on Environment Generate
Partner Profiles
27. Following screen shall be shown
28. Click on execute(F8)
29. Following screens shall be shown
Port and other relations shall be automatically created by this.
30. Login to Biztalk Admin Console
31. Open the Project you have deployed
32. Define the receive location with Program Id we configured
33. Enable the receive Location
34. Now log in to SAP, goto RFC destination selected (SM59) and do the connection test. It should
give “connection ok” like below
35. Now do the Unicode test. It shall give the below screen
36. Now create a filter send port(file type) in BizTalk application
37. Enable the send port
38. Trigger and IDOC
39. Check the Biztalk File folder for the idoc xml file generated
40. Goto SAP and check “smgw” t-code. We will find the active connections in the SAP gateway.
