Daily Maintenance Flow

Equipment RoomTemperatureRecommended temperature: 15C to 30C. HumidityRecommended humidity: 40% to 65%. SecurityThe burglarproof net, door and window are intact.CleannessThe equipment room is tidy and clean without distinct dust.

Daily MaintenanceOMM server status check
OMM client can login normally.Performance data can be exported normally.System configuration data backup policy running normally.

OMM client can login normally.From client PC run run-client icon and try to login.

Performance data can be exported normally.Open PM GUI first.

Performance data can be exported normally.In PM GUI, open Performance Data Query.

Performance data can be exported normally.From pop up dialog, select RNC-KPI index and type ok.

If system can generate non-blank value it means PM work normally.If all are blank value, please contact next level for troubleshooting.

System configuration data backup policy running normally.

From CM GUI, select Management type Data Recover.

In the Data Recover dialog type select button.

In the open dialog confirm the newest backup data time stamp is this morning.

RNC MO connected normally.In CM GUI check RNC MO connection is normal status.

RNC configuration data modification indicator is Blue color (nothing changed).

Audit RNC real-time alarm

Open Fault Management

Export realtime alarms

Save as .xls format

Check RNC real-time alarm from the xls file.

Open history alarms

Type quick search icon in History Alarm Query GUI

Select Happen Time in the filter Time range set to 24 hoursThen type OK button.

After a few seconds, 24 hours history alarms appear.

Export the history data and analysis RNC history alarms in 24 hours

Open Notificatons

Audit 24 hours history notifications of Node BType Quick Search icon.

Select Happen Time in the filter Time range set to 24 hoursThen type OK button.

After few seconds, 24 hours history notifications appear.

24 hours history notifications of Node BExport the history data and analysis the history Node B notifications.

Weekly MaintenanceOMM client virus scan
Use Anti-virus software to scan the PC where OMM client is installed in.

Weekly MaintenanceSystem configuration data export (XLS format)
In CM GUI, select RNC Managed Element MO.

From menu bar and RNC ManagedElement menuSelect Configuration Data Export Tool item.

In the pop up dialog has 6 pages.Type Select All for each page.

Type Export Data button.

Select the directory and wait for a few minutes.

System will generate a folder in your PC.

Monthly MaintenanceOMM server disk space check
Delete old configuration data stored in OMM ../ums-svr\backup\sysmanager folder.Use DF k to confirm system disk space.

Monthly MaintenanceNTP status check
Check OMM server TOD time is the same with TOD source.Check RNC TOD time is the same with OMM server.

Check OMM server TOD time is the same with TOD source.In OMM server GUI, from System menu select Show System Time item.

Compare the result with TOD source.Any time shift ask next level support.

Check RNC TOD time is the same with OMM server.Double click RNC Ground Resource Management MO

In the right view select Synchronize NEs Clock icon.

If successful, RNC TOD time has already been adjusted.If failed, ask next level for support.
