    Limits on what we pay

The most we will pay in claims, under this Transit

Accident Insurance policy, that results rom theone incident (eg. a bus crash) is A$1,300,000regardless o the number o persons in theincident.

This means that i as a result o one incident anumber o cardholders, their spouses and/or

dependentchildren were injured, we would payeach on a proportional basis (using the scheduleon page 44) up to a total o A$1,300,000.

For example, i two cardholders, one spouse andone dependentchild lost their lives in the samebus crash, we would calculate the benefts payable

as ollows: Two cardholders - $1,000,000

    One spouse - $250,000

    One dependent child - $125,000

    Total beneft amount: $1,375,000

We take the total aggregate exposure($1,300,000) and divide it by the total beneftamount ($1,375,000) to determine the percentage(94.5%) to proportionally reduce.

  • 7/31/2019 Zurich Travel Insurance

    46/48

    46

In this case, the total benefts would work outto be:

    Each Cardholder - $472,727
