Disaster Committee and library administration will meet, survey the damage and develop a recovery strategy

Damaged materials will be recorded and properly stored and stabilized until a detailed recovery can be developed

Box very wet materials and store in freezer

Slightly damp materials can be dried by fanning open the pages of the book

911 Calling:

If you call 911 using a cell phone, you’ll get WS City Police who must then contact WFU.

On campus, call 758-5911 using a cell phone –or- simply 911 from a landline.

There are 2 fire extinguishers on each side (east and west) of the Reynolds Wing.

In the Wilson Wing, 4 fire extinguishers are located on each level.

All persons should evacuate the library immediately and proceed to Davis Field

Those responsible for clearing a floor in the library should quickly walk through their area and proceed to Davis Field

During an alert, the university will notify by:

1. Tone and message on outdoor speakers2. Text messages3. Phone calls to those who do not have

text messaging4. Banner message on university cable TV
