LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE! Th ank you to all those at Zion who have helped make our 2016 Lutheran World Relief quilts and kits a resounding success! Several members drove trucks with trail-ers to TLU on March 30 with 157 boxes. We packed 393 Mission Quilts, 200 School Kits, 120 Personal Care Kits, 46 Baby Care Kits, 15 Fabric Kits and 131 pounds of soap. In addition, $1943 was donated for LWR shipping expenses. All of this is a hefty increase from previous years and we could not have done it without all of your donations throughout the year, as well as all of the volun-teers who made quilts and put together kits. Lutheran World Relief boxes are bar-coded, which let us get feedback on where our donations have gone. Since 2014, our Mis-sion Quilts have been sent to the Philippines, Tanzania, Lebanon, Ukraine, and Angola; Baby Care Kits have gone to Yemen and Mali; School Kits have gone to Mali, and Fabric Kits have gone to Angola. I love being able to know where we have made a dif-ference! God’s blessing to all. Elane Jones President, Women of Zion
