Technology | Reproducibility | StabilityZenith™ is a third generation mobile bearing total ankle replacement with advanced

coating technologies and innovative instrumentation. Based on a proven bearing

surface geometry, it has a 25 year heritage1.

The outstanding design of Zenith™ is further enhanced through its titanium nitride

(TiN) ceramic coating with its reduction in polyethylene wear, and the Biomimetic

Cementless Technology which provides rapid integration and enhanced longevity.

Exceptional instrumentation simplifies the surgical technique

and allows for reproducible results time after time.

Uniglide®

Unicondylar knee system

The unicompartmental knee replacement for any surgical need, with the most technologically advanced and proven coatings.

Technology

BONIT coating Bonit coating is a well-established and proven process of applying a thin layer of calcium phosphate to a titanium plasma sprayed layer which gives optimal bone integration.

Titanium nitride coating Titanium nitride coating is a ceramic layer that is applied to the polished bearing surface to reduce wear and enhance the longevity of the implant.

Biomimetic Cementless Technology coating

An established and proven process incorporating an application of a thin calcium phosphate

(CaP) layer applied to a titanium plasma sprayed base. A bone-like, biphasic CaP coating

has been shown to promote short and long term osseointegration and may help to

accelerate the implant healing process3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11.

TiN coating

Titanium nitride coating is a ceramic layer that is applied to the polished surface to reduce

wear and enhance longevity of the implant. The TiN coating has been successfully shown

to reduce wear by up to 98%2.

ReproducibilityThe third generation instrumentation

allows the surgeon to carry out accurate,

reproducible implant positioning with a

comprehensive, fully jigged system.

Both initial tibia and talus

cuts are referenced from

the same jig instrument.

Three flats on the inferior surface

allow accurate and reproducible cuts

with minimal bone resection.

The reamer guide provides effective

preparation of the anterior talus.

Final posterior

cutting block ensures

accurate implant fit.

StabilityTwo anterior pegs for primary and rotational stability and even load transfer.

Open wedge effect and deep sulcus provide security for the mobile bearing.

Congruency with the talus allows unconstrained rotational translational

movement along the tibial plate, whilst providing optimal stability.

The design and security of the tibial stem is proven

with over 25 years of clinical use1.
