ZelenTech is a fluid measurement company specializing in Watercut Monitors (also known asBS&W, OWD, WFM or Water in Oil Analyzers) for Oil & and Gas Industry as well as Water In OilMonitors for lubrication systems in Heavy Machinery and Marine applications.

ABOUT US
The ZelenTech ZT100 Watercut Meter is rooted in the Capacitance
Measurement Technology originally developed by Swedish entrepreneurs
Hans and Jorgen Lindahl 17 years ago resulted in a device with top of the
line electronics backed by decades of field experience.
With the ZT100 Watercut product line ZelenTech offers a flexible and fully
customizable line of water cut meters unprecedented in the industry. We
build units that match your system.
The product range covers measurement devices for Watercut (Oil & Gas)
and Water In Oil Monitors for Heavy Machinery and Marine Applications. The
measurement devices are complemented with equipment for presentation
and data collection as well as Stream Conditioning.
The company also specifically targets custom designs solutions for its clients.
The foundation of the company and its success is due to the emphasis

THE TECHNOLOGY
CapacitanceCapacitance technology has been used bythe oil industry to measure water cut for almost50 years. The technology exploits the significantdifference in dielectric properties between oil(~ 2) and water (~80). The continued successcomes not only from the fact that capacitancetechnologies was first on the market, but thefact that it does a pretty good job in the mostcommon ranges, this at reasonable prices.
The net capacitance of the 2-phase media is measuredby transmitting a radio frequency voltage across thesensing elements. The net capacitance is directly relatedto the water cut. Good correlation can be reachedprovided the dry oil capacitance as well as the watercapacitance is known. Capacitance goes up withincreasing water cut and down with decreasing watercut.
Backed by a long history and continuous developmentthe capacitive instruments have the key advantage ofbeing a stable (and proven) measurement technology.Simple design, insensitivity to water conductivity andability to handle a majority of oil patch applications areother key features. It is a common misconception thatcapacitive instruments are limited to the lower segmentof the non-linear capacitance vs. water cut responsecurve. Recent developments have brought forwardcapacitance instruments able to measure up to inversion(*) under unfavorable conditions and all the way to 100%water cut under favorable water conditions.

OVERVIEW
Water contamination in oil based fluid can cause numerous problems such as loss of revenue, additivedepletion, oil oxidation, etc… these problem can be prevented by proper online monitoring, whenspot sampling is in sufficient to represent the bulk of oil in processes.

CHALLENGES – WATER FORMS
Dissolved WaterDissolved water contamination is the least harmful
of the three types of water. Dissolved water is a functionof the environment- Relative humidity, temperature,and oil type will normally determine what dissolvedwater content will be. (Ie. Dissolved water does notaffect lubricity).Emulsified Water
Emulsified water is water that has been mixed,homogenized and/or mechanically emulsified in the oilto form extremely strong emulsions. Strong in the sensethat gravity or other devices will not work in separatingthe two phases. Emulsified water is capable of reducinglubricity.Free Water
Free water is free to separate and settle to the baseof the reservoir or the pipelines. (ie. Free water is themost damaging, because it can displace Lube oil andallow metal to metal contact of rotating equipment).
It is a known fact that water in oil can exist in three known forms.

Provide a total installed cost effective solution to the best measurement of % or ppm of water in oil content.
We believe that present method in general does not ensure a true sample & representation of what is flowing in the actual main process.
