LIFE AT ZBC DURING THE HEALTH CRISIS We want to encourage each member to be in prayer for our communi-ty, state, nation and world during the Coronavirus crisis. Pray for our lead-ers and for those who provide care to ones who are ill. We also encourage everyone to use common sense and good health habits at church and in all areas of life – stay home when you are sick, practice good hand hygiene, cover your coughs and sneezes, and avoid hand-to-face contact as much as you can. The Executive Committee met this Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. to con-sider options for our congregation. We took seriously the discouragement of assemblies of more than 100 persons, but at this time the decision of the group is to continue holding services. This is a fluid situation and the Execu-tive Committee will continue to monitor things and changes can be made. We are making some changes to help with the current situation. Staff and volunteers made a conscious effort at cleaning surfaces on Friday in preparation for Sunday. For the time being, the exchange of the peace of Christ will be a verbal greeting with no handshakes or hugs. We will bring offerings forward as opposed to passing the plates, and we will offer Face-book Live streaming of worship to both the Blue Room and the Fellowship Hall if you do not wish to be in the Sanctuary with a larger crowd. This enables you to also watch our service on Facebook Live at home. Remem-ber sermons are always uploaded to myzbc.org. Attending worship and other activities is always voluntary. Even if you have responsibilities, if you need to stay at home, please do so without hesi-tation. We are doing our best to balance the need for worship and spiritual community with the concerns for health and safety. Thank you for being a supportive member of our wonderful ZBC family!
