ANTAGONIA SPRING SUMMER 15 Welcome to Antagonia. A warm and remote place where the ocean waves smoothly caress the shore. When they draw back, the sun illumines the wet sand and thousands of particles scintillate for a few seconds. Nothing or nobody hinders the dance of the silvered waves in the deserted beach. All of a sudden the colour of the sky turns indigo and lemon while the clouds get the colour of plums...

and the dark night hovers over Antagonia once more.

The combination of contrasts is the underlying thread of “Antagonia” - Kupuri’s spring/summer collection 2015, which remains true to its austere and timeless style. Tough leathers like calfskin are combined with softer leathers like ‘savage’. Both are fully opaque, unlike the micro-perforated leather and the

elastic mesh which give to the shoes a semi-transparent appearance. Once again, matt colours mingle with brighter colours in a black and sandy tones palette, dotted with hints of indigo, plum, lemon and water-green.

From this combination of feminine and sensual textures arises a variety of shoes and sandals of different heights depending on the sole which

is made of blocks of layered wooden heels, leather and sparkling rubber. These are the innovations that define the ‘Antagonia’ collection. And remember the legend, the woman who reaches this warm and remote place where the ocean waves smoothly caress the shore, never comes back with bare feet. Bon Voyage!

ArabesqueWe love the romance of Lawrence of Arabia, the vastness of the desert, the palm trees, the Bedouins and were inspired to produce these super pointy high fronted slip-ons in various desert friendly colour combinations

Acid lemon and orange A splash of acid lemon or orange lifts any outfit and we wanted to show some new textures and move away from the fluoros of recent seasons.

Here we see lemon and orange poni skin so soft you want to stroke it and orange and purple woven patent leather with fuchsia trim and yellow and pink patent with orange and fuchsia trim.

Snake printsLoving the combination of tobacco tan with aqua blue.

Tablecloth CheckWe love that cowgirl check shirt and jeans look aka Daisy Duke. We´ve had so many stripes and spots we fancied a change and these bright checks are great fun.

Beach picnicThese colours reminded us of a summer beach picnic – the yellow check of the tablecloth, the green of the watermelon, the aqua blue of the Med and the pink of our favourite summer fruit juice - rosé

Pretty Africa These prints have an African warrior feel, we just gave them a little of the “Pretty” treatment.

Electric ponisPoni leathers in electric colours – brightest electric blue and purest fuchsia – a step on from animal print but with a texture that’s addictive
