Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH 2015 Establishing Semantic Network using Resource Description Framework Designed a crawler using Curl library to iteratively extract plaint text from websites Parsed the plain text and extracted the grammatical dependency relation between the work using NLTK library and stored the results in 4Store database. Proposed a method to produce a conceptual dependency relation between noun words by recursively joining word’s grammatical dependency relation. Utilized force-directed graph in D3 to achieve visualization of RDF data. CENTER FOR INNOVATION THROUGH VISUALIZATION AND SIMULATION (CVIS), Gary, IN 2013 - 2014 GIS Centric Suite of Integrated Software Platforms for Public Asset Management Led a team responsible for developing a portable Windows RT-based GIS data application that helps sanitation department staff to conveniently record road conditions during field surveys; project completed in collaboration with the Sanitation Department of Gary, Indiana. Designed the program with functions that synchronized gathered data from the device to the database. ANHUI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, Maanshan, Anhui, China 2012 - 2013 Department of Computer Science - Enterprise Network Security Protect System Designed analytical models that utilized machine learning technology to classify abnormal software operation. Developed a rule-based firewall model for Windows XP to filter malicious packets. The project was funded by China Ministry of Education under the China Student's Platform for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program.
