THE EDITORSWe are five girls from Porsgrunn and Skien who has started up a business by young entrepreneur-ship. We want our fashion magazine which is called Youth to be inspiring to boys and girls between 14 to 25 year. Our main theme is street style and winter. Finally we have made it to the launch of our online

magazine, hope you like it!

Henriette NensethIm the boss. It means that I have the primary re-sponsibility for our entire company and also our magazine. My specialty is film, which means I’m editing our movies and the last one I did was our commercial movie. The main character was actually a dog, which was very interesting and a whole bunch of fun.

Nikoline astrupMy job is to ensure that everyone in our busi-ness is doing well. If someone is sick or upset, is my job to help them figure it out. It’s import-ant that you look forward to work, if not you often don’t do it so well either. Beside that I’m also responsibility for the text in our magazine.

Marte SchiaMy name is Marte Schia and I am the financial-ly responsible. This means that I’m responsible for our money and accounting. It’s important that I have control over the money we use and earn. I’m also the photographer in Youth mag-azine, which means I’m the one who takes the pictures when we have photoshoots and most of the images in background as well

Oda Lilzzløy AndersenMy task is to promoting our magazine and get people to be curious and read it. I worked with our blog and facebook page, this is a great way to get out to many teenagers at the same time. I’ll also been making some posters and worked with all the other advertising stuff until our magazine finally was released.

Pia BratheimMy main responsibility was to make sure that the magazine was published with quality con-tent and that everyone was happy and worked their ass off to make it work. Beside that I’m responsibility for the web, which means that I set up our blog among other thing like making our twitter and Instagram accounts.

WINTER

In Norway we have very cold winters, which do it very easy to hide away in big jackets and UGGS. It’s also very dark outside that can make your inspiration very bad.

Well, you’re not alone and we will try to give you some advice with some of these winter pictures. It doesn’t need to be harder than a cute sweater and a cap. Some fake fur or a cute scarf can keep you warm and make you look so much more stylish.

“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant, if we did not sometimes taste of aversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.“– Anne Bradstreet

STREETSTYLE Marte Olsen og Marcus Johnsen

Street fashion is from the grassroots. It’s generally associated with youth culture and is inspired by the contemporary culture. Is a type of fashion that is personal to you and is most often seen in major urban centers. Mainstream fashion actually often appropriates street fashion trends as influences.

For many people fashion is an escape, is so much more than just clothes, sales or shoes. Is a way to self-expression, creativity or their artistic value. For many fashion is like an travel far away from the real world, like an escape from other things that is happening in your life.Japan began to emulate Western fashion during the middle of the 19th century. By the beginning of the 21st century it had altered into what is known today as street fashion.

The term 'Street Fashion' is used to describe fashion where the wear-er personally customizes the outfits by adopting a mixture of current and traditional trends. Some of such clothes are home-made with the use of material bought from the stores.

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is hap-pening.” – Coco Chanel
