‘CLONE’ CARTRIDGES

These are cartridges not made by a brand name manufacturer. Clone cartridges aim to compete solely on price, not quality. Cheaper materials and plastics are used causing prints to be plagued with issues such as low image density and print defects. Some reports have indicated clones may contain harmful substances, including chloroform. Also, clone cartridges cannot be recycled or remanufactured so they end up in landfills.
