Materials needed:
Cardboard box—
medium sized
A piece of paper
Tape or glue
Markers or crayons
1. Find an empty, clean cardboard box.
(If you don’t have a cardboard box, you can use
a paper grocery bag.)
2. Fold the flaps of the cardboard box inward—
down inside the box.
3. Next make a recycle sign to attach to the box.
4. Tape or glue the recycle sign on the box
(or bag).
5. Put the Recycle Box next to the trash can in the
kitchen, and it’s now ready to use.
Go into every room in your house. Put a mark next to the recyclable item you find.
You might want to make more “Recycle Boxes” to put in other rooms.
