(b) God’s Son sets the Example
(c) God’s Word exhorts us
2. When should we have a ‘Quiet Time’?
Morning – Evening – Daily Early morning to be preferred – why? (1) The example of Jesus (2) The example of Old Testament saints (3) The experience of great Christians (4) Live the day – Begin the day with Him (5) In the morning – mind is fresh & alert (6) Early morning most practical time (7) God first – give him first place
