Transparent Production - More than Consumer Protection.

The Traceability of Batches and Raw Materialsis Becoming Increasingly More Important

In food production a continuous transparency of production processes has already become a quality and competition factor.A transparent production quickly enables theidentification and elimination of faulty productsand the recognition of deviations in the productproperties. This, therefore, offers a far moreconstant product quality.

The main idea behind traceability is that all raw materials that are used in the productionare exactly identifiable and this information, along with the food production dates, arearchived for later evaluation.

Because raw materials are also stored andmoved in a production plant, it is much safer to identify them just before adding them to theprocess and to store the data for traceability.

Reimelt system controls offer a variety of possi-bilities from batch detail reporting to traceability.

In the later case, data is available for the pro-cess management level or directly evaluated inthe Reimelt system. The open architecture ofthe batch management system PrismaWEBenables the traceability necessary for the inter-facing of bar code readers, mixer controls, ERPsystems etc.

Today, a modern facility in the food processingindustry without CIP cleaning is unthinkable.Reimelt Guth Engineering offers classic multi-tank CIP systems as well as compact satellitesolutions.

Your requirements and needs are always of primary concern.

Modern system technology comprises not onlycleaning technology but also the handling ofwaste water or correspondingly the recovery ofwater used in the production process. Welcomebyproducts such as biogas naturally increasethe cost effectiveness of the system.

Today, investments such as these, with regardsto resource conservation and a sustainable useof the same, are more than worthwhile.

Whether it’s CIP cleaning or waste water pro-cessing: Reimelt Guth Engineering is on yourside as a dependable partner.

Today, many end-products are producedthrough the introduction of additional liquidand dry materials or intermediate products.

The safe handling of dry materials and theirallocation to end or intermediate products isalready an integral part of the Reimelt deliveryprogram.

In combination with tailor-made processes forthe integration of liquid components, ReimeltGuth Engineering provides the right processesfor even the most difficult tasks.

Thermal processes for the preservation of foodshave always had their place in food processing. The combination of quality optimizing processsteps such as inline vacuum-degassing of fruitjuices, displays yet another part of the ReimeltGuth Engineering scope of delivery.

Our performance spectrum also includes theclassic applications such as the pasteurizationof beer in a high-temperature short-timepasteurizer with a plated heat exchanger or theapplication of multi-pipe heat exchangers forthe processing of products with fibrous andlumpy ingredients.

Furthermore, systems for loss minimizationthrough pigging technology are also available.

Special processes, such as the application ofscrape surface heat exchangers for certain pro-duct groups are planned and implemented foryou.

Due to the rising prices of raw materials, theoften immense disposal costs and the sharperenvironmental regulations, processes for therecovery of product processing materials (suchas catalysts) are becoming more and moreattractive.

Also the aspect of improved environmental pro-tection can no longer be ignored. Only so canthe various industry branches fulfill their obli-gation to the next generation.

To fulfill these requirements, Reimelt GuthEngineering offers the thermal separation tech-nology as well as membrane-filtration.

Classic filtration technologies for the treatmentof products have belonged to the establishedprocess steps for a long time now.

Today, the application of modern membrane filtration offers an interesting alternative inmany process areas.

Water treatment is an area where membranefiltration has a solid placing. The most varied water qualities, according torequirements, can be prepared by selection ofthe processes and membranes.

Reimelt Guth Engineering also designs andbuilds systems with the smallest dimensions, which, for example, can be found at laborato-ries for product trials for training and research.

The preparation of dissolved sugar is necessaryin many production operations.

The selection of suitable dissolving processes,as well as the corresponding handling with silostorage inclusive conveying technology and theknow-how and equipment for transport medi-ums such as BigBags or sacks, are prerequisitesfor an efficient production of even a simplesyrup.

Furthermore, a filtration process fine-tuned tothe requirements and the raw material qualityis an integral part of the total-concept solution.

Classic filtration systems and also processessuch as membrane filtration are a part of ourscope of supply.
