Our magnificent newly renovated grounds feature two newly renovated ballrooms with ceilings reaching to a stunning 18ft complimented by brilliant crystal chandeliers. French doors open out to our breathtaking garden boasting works of the famous Don Morikami along with a newly refinished waterfall. Deer Creek Country Club accommodates up to 200 guests for wedding ceremonies and 200 guests for receptions at our magnificent venue.

SERVICE CHARGE AND SALES TAXAll menu pricing and fees quoted are subject to 22% service charge and 6% state tax. Service charge is taxable in the State of Florida. *Exception to this is the Valet charge subject to 6% sales tax only.

CEREMONY FEEThere will be a facility fee of $1,500.00 MINIMUM. Your rehearsal is included in this charge for events of 75 persons or more. White folding chairs will be provided for the ceremony in the location of your choice based on availability. This fee is in conjunction with reception attendance and will be charged based on your final reception guarantee. This fee is a facility fee and not based on amount of chairs set. This fee is also subject to 22% service charge and 6% sales tax. Your special day will be coordinated by the Banquet Manager and the Event Assistant (weddings only). The Catering Director will be your point of contact until the day of the event.

EXTRA HOUR CHARGES$1,000.00 per hour for rental of venue. To extend alcoholic bar service a fee in addition to extra hour is $5.00 per adult and will apply per hour of extension, otherwise the bar will stay open with non-alcoholic beverages only. All extensions must be done at least 24 hours in advance of the event.*An additional $150.00 fee will be charged for extensions made within 6 hours of original end time.

CHEFS, CARVERS, AND BARTENDERSChefs and carvers are required for some menu items and are charged at a $100.00 fee per attendant up to 100 persons. An additional chef will be placed at the discretion of the property not the client. One bartender is included in each package. An additional bartender is required for guests of 100 persons or more at a fee of $150.00. An additional bartender/bar will be placed at the discretion of the property not the client.

VALET PARKING - MANDATORYA $125.00 Valet Parking Fee will be applicable to all wedding packages. This is a flat fee and will take care of all guest parking the evening of the event. Self-parking will also be available.

SATURDAY EVENING FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUMSDeer Creek requires a guaranteed minimum of $14,000.00 in order to reserve the venue for a Saturday evening event. This minimum must be met prior to service charge and sales tax. Any shortfall will be charged as a miscellaneous room rental fee.

ALL OTHER EVENT MINIMUMSFriday Events require a minimum of $10,000, and Sunday Events require a minimum of $8,500.00 based on ages 21 and over in order to qualify for the packages and to reserve the entire venue for your event. This includes both the Biscayne Room & Key West Ballroom, along with the patio area. Monday – Thursday events require 75 persons in Key West Ballroom with Patio area and 50 persons in the Biscayne Room with Veranda. These dates maybe shared with other events upon availability.

CHILDREN MEALSYoung adults 12-20 years of age will be discounted $10.00 off of the package price. These young adults will receive regular adult meals. Children 5 -11 years of age will be charged $25.00 and under 5 are complimentary. All children ages 11 and under will receive a children’s meal determined by the club.

RESERVING YOUR DATEThere is a $3,000 non-refundable deposit that must be made in order to secure a date. Deer Creek does not hold dates for longer than 24 hours and will have the option to sell without a set deposit.

PAYMENTPayment may be made at any time. All payments are non-refundable. All events must be paid in full 30 days prior to the day of the event. Payments can be made by credit card or bank certified check. No cash will be accepted.

MEAL GUARANTEEA meal guarantee of the number of guests attending is required (10) days prior to your function. If the number of guests fall below the meal guarantee, the host is still responsible for the number of guests guaranteed. If multiple entrée items are offered for a seated event, guest’s orders must be taken through RSVP by client and presented to the Catering Director 10 days PRIOR to event. NO EXCEPTIONS.**It will be the responsibility of the client to provide any menu and indicators for selected entrees on Escort cards. Printed Menus must be submitted 7 days prior to event; otherwise, venue will not be responsible for any difference in menu specifications differing from Banquet Event Order. (BEO)

WEDDING CAKEAll wedding cakes are to be provided by approved vendors. Please contact the catering director for information.

VENDORS MEALS MANDATORYYour hired vendors will be provided with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages during your event. Under no circumstances will we allow any on-duty vendor to be served or purchase alcoholic beverages. Vendor meals are chef’s choice and charged $60.00 per vendor meal. Pre-arranged guaranteed vendors is required with an actual amount of vendors charged at the conclusion of event.

FOOD & BEVERAGE RESTRICTIONSNo food or beverage may be brought in or removed from the property by host or guests. Exceptions will be made for Kosher and Indian Caterers. Please contact catering director for approved vendors.

BEVERAGE SERVICEThe sale and service of alcoholic beverages are regulated by the Florida State Liquor Commission. Deer Creek Country Club is responsible for the administration of these regulations. It is Club policy therefore, that liquor cannot be brought into the Club from outside sources. We will not serve alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of (21) years. Deer Creek will refuse to sell or serve alcohol to any visibly intoxicated person. Deer Creek does not allow the service of “shots” to any guests.*One Signature Drink will be allowed from contracted package bar ingredients. Single liquor drinks only. Additional liquors or secondary Specialty Drink will be charged accordingly at a per person upgrade cost.

DECORATIONS/MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENTFlowers, décor, specialty linens, and entertainment vendors can be suggested by your catering representative. Please check our attached Preferred Vendor List. Outside Vendors must be approved by the Catering Director.

PARTY ITEMSWe regret that we cannot allow smoke or fog machines due to our fire prevention systems. Violation of this rule by your entertainment may result in interruption of your event and payment of municipal false alarm fees of up to $500.00. We must also ask that confetti machines not be used unless the band or DJ will be providing cleanup services after the event. Bubbles are not allowed due to the slip and fall Hazards. Additionally, no décor items may be mounted onto walls, windows or dance floor with nails, tacks, tape or glue. We are not able to store, assemble, or place your table centerpieces, and you must provide personnel capable of completing their set up during the 3 hour time allotted prior to your event. Please check with your catering representative regarding other items.

DAMAGE TO FACILITIESShould Deer Creek Country Club property or facility be damaged by the host or host’s guests, the host will be held financially responsible for the repair of the damaged property.

INSURANCEDeer Creek Catering carries general liability insurance for the protection of you and your guests. To insure this protection is complete, we must insist that all vendors employed by you, including, but not limited to entertainment, photographers, videographers, and decorators/florists carry full general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence, $2,000,000.00 aggregate. Insured must name Deer Creek Golf Club additionally insured. Waivers are not acceptable and Deer Creek Catering reserves the right to deny facility access to vendors not providing written proof of this coverage.

ITEMS SUPPLIED FOR YOUR EVENTDue to multiple event bookings, Deer Creek is not responsible for the storage, safekeeping, damage or loss of décor or equipment supplied by you or your hired vendors. Any items used during the event MUST be picked up at the end of the event or they will be discarded. We recommend you appoint someone to retrieve all vital items the evening of the event. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
