This low power board provides many high speed interfaces and can control up to two analog-RF boards in order to support MIMO solutions. PHY and MAC layers are implemented into FPGA device, calibration and higher layers of the radio communication stack are implemented into Omap-L138 DSP while the application and other standard I/Fs are managed by Omap-L138 ARM9 core. Particularly interesting is the availability of a PCI express endpoint to obtain a high speed interface with other boards, the form factor of our platform take into account the PCIe mechanical spec.

Low noise high precision analog RF board includes all blocks needed for signal transmission and reception: DACs, ADCs, amplifiers, analog filters, mixers and power amplifier. This board includes a small SPI flash containing specific information like analog calibration parameters and power vs. frequency compensation. These information are loaded by DSP and used to optimize TX-RX path performances.

RF board characteristics:• Tx/Rx from 232MHz to 3.7GHz;• Conducted power: 20dBm for OFDM signal;• Supported Bandwidth from 1.5 to 28MHz;• Phase Noise with offset 10KHz @800MHz - 94dBc/Hz
