SHANNON ARRIVAL & GALWAY CITY After customs and immigration formalities at Shannon Airport, your tour driver and guide will welcome you to Ireland. Have breakfast at a local venue before journeying north to Galway, where you will set off on a gentle walking tour of the city. See the medieval city walls, Lynch’s Castle, and the charming narrow streets. Then the coach will bring you the short distance to your hotel in the city center, check-in, and settle into your room with time to relax before an independent dinner. (Included: Breakfast)

CLIFFS OF MOHER & THE BURREN This morning drive along the coast of scenic County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved natural landmarks. See the stunning views, overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean, as you drive along Ireland’s Western coastline. Pass through the Burren, a region celebrated for its exotic flora and fauna which still thrive amongst its rocky limestone. This region also contains many fascinating dolmens, prehistoric monuments formed by large limestone slabs. Return to Galway and relax or shop locally before dinner with the group. LOUGH CORRIB CRUISE & WESTPORT Travel through the rugged Connemara region and admire the sweeping views of boglands and misty mountains. Next, embark on a cruise on Lough Corrib, which is the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland. See Lough Corrib’s many islands and historic ruins as you sail to the magnificent Ashford Castle and explore the grounds. Afterwards, take a walking tour of the charming coastal town of Westport. Among the most picturesque features of the town is the promenade, and the little stone bridges along the River Carrow Beg. Then check into your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay in Westport. The cliffs drop straight down to the wild Atlantic waves below, and the views are breathtaking. Then take some time out to enjoy freshly made tea and scones while at the cliffs. Next, drive to Ardara so you can see demonstrations of traditional spinning, weaving and knitting at Triona Designs. Continue along the Atlantic Coast to Glencolmcille Folk Park to visit traditional cottages showing period furnishings and farming equipment, which conjure up country life in past centuries. This evening, you will also take part in the internationally renowned Dublin Literary Pub Crawl, where some of Vincent’s actor friends from Dublin retrace the steps of Joyce, Beckett and Yeats. DUBLIN HIGHLIGHTS This morning, embark on a guided coach tour of Dublin. The city has been molded through the centuries by many different and impressive architectural styles. Tour the Guinness Storehouse, the most popular tourist destination in Europe, to see living exhibitions on how this world-famous stout was first created and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the roof-top bar, where you can sample a draft of Guinness. The afternoon is free to sightsee and shop, along Grafton Street and Nassau Street, to experience the charm of Trinity College, the Book of Kells, the National Gallery of Ireland, or St. Stephen’s Green, all within walking distance of your hotel. This evening, we drive to the town of Rathfarnham to enjoy the storied Taylors Three Rock Cabaret for dinner, followed by a mightily entertaining traditional Irish cabaret of dance, song, music, and humor.
