  • Making a difference.Your guide to fundraising forOvarian Cancer Australia.

  • Each year, more than 1,500 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer, the deadliest female cancer. Contrary to what many believe, a cervical screening (pap smear) will not detect ovarian cancer – in fact there is no early detection test.

With your help, we can save lives and support women.

Raffle: Collect lots of lovely prizes and host a raffle at your event.

Auction: Ask businesses, friends or family to donate desirable items or experiences and auction them off to the highest bidder!

Challenge: Think up a difficult task or activity that you know will challenge you, and ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you to do it.

Game: Host a games night, and play your favourite games, with all winnings going to OCA as a donation!

Sale: Bake some treats and sell your goodies at work or at a local community gathering.

Ticket/Entry fee: Host party or dinner and charge your guests for a ticket!

Promote your event or campaign by setting up an online fundraising page.

This will allow your guests/participants to donate online and see how you are progressing with your fundraising goal.

You can post updates, photos and comment on donations on your own page. It’s easy to share on Facebook and by email to all your friends and family.
