Your Highfield wedding—

Highfield is the perfect location for your special day―stunning scenery, romantic, rustic buildings and a relaxed atmosphere. Highfield can cater for your entire wedding package with ceremony, photographs and reception all held in the one location.

FacilitiesHighfield’s chapel is set with 10 pews and can comfortably seat up to 50 guests with some standing room. Alternatively our landscaped grounds provide the perfect back drop for your wedding ceremony, taking in spectacular views of the surrounding coast line and historic Stanley village.

For your reception use our rustic barn and bring in caterers to style your reception the way you wish from cocktail to formal seating. The barn can hold a maximum of 100 guests. It is fitted with a commercial kitchen for catering purposes. The barn is accessible for those who require mobility assistance.

You and your wedding party are welcome to start setting up the day before your wedding and all packing up can be completed the day after.

Stanley has a huge array of accommodation on offer to suit everyone’s budget plus lots of things to see and do during your stay.

Highfield staff are happy to assist with the organisation of your event and provide local knowledge; however it is the responsibility of the persons hiring the venue to ensure all physical set up/clean up is conducted. This is to be done within business hours – 9.30am-4.30pm.

Venue hire agreement—

Conditions:• A $100.00 deposit will be paid on confirmation of booking.

This deposit is non refundable.

• Balance of 50% due in 90 days of booking. Full payment to be made within 30 days of booking date.

• A security bond may be charged.

Indemnity:The Hirer will indemnify the Crown and its employees, agents and contractors from and against all actions, claims, demands, costs and expenses for which the Crown and its employees, agents and contractors shall or may be or become liable in respect of or arising from any loss, injury, death or damage sustained, caused or contributed to by an act, omission or neglect by the Hirer and the Hirer’s employees, agents, contractors, invitees and guests in or upon the Site during the period of the Venue Hire Agreement and departure from the Site.

EquipmentThese items are included in hire rate:

• Refrigerated van & rubbish removal service

• Use of commercial kitchen

• 25 wooden chairs

• 6 x 1800mm round tables

• 10 x 900mm square tables

• Cleaning products

• Step ladder and extension ladder

• 2 x extension cords

Requirements:• Persons hiring the venue space will leave the premises clean

and free of rubbish. Please ensure guests dispose of cigarette butts in a suitable fireproof vessel. Any site clean up or site rehabilitation by Highfield staff caused as a result of this activity will be charged to the Hirer. Highfield supplies all cleaning products and equipment for your use.

• The van can be used to store beverages and other consumables before the reception and then be used after to place rubbish in. This is included in the hire cost.

Public broadcastThe Hirer shall inform Parks and Wildlife Service of any intention to photograph, televise or record any activity within the Site that is to be broadcast in a public domain.

RatesBelow are the rates associated with venue hire options, valid until 30 June 2021 (all prices are inclusive of GST). Price includes rubbish removal service and a refrigerated van.

• Ceremony only using chapel or grounds: $500.00

• Ceremony and reception: $4000.00
