The School Colour Fun-Run is a healthy fundraiser that we hope you’ll get behind. The event sends a message to students about having fun while being healthy, all while helping the school raise funds. We’re looking for all students to participate and we’re organising a great day for our community, so we’d love everyone to come down to support the kids. Family, staff and siblings of students are encouraged and welcome to participate and join in the fun for $5 each (registration on the day). If you have any questions about the Colour Fun-Run please contact Mrs Fitt, Nikki Mak or the School Fun-Run Office on 1800 FUN RUN. Thanks for supporting Boyanup Primary School, we hope to see you at our event!

We would love some volunteers on the day to help out at water, paint and obstacle stations so please call Mrs Fitt on 9731 5111 or Nikki Mak 0437 329 942 if you are available to help us throw an amazing day! Thank you in advance!

Our You Can Do It! focus this fortnight is

Getting Up when Feeling Down.

Feeling down when something bad happens

to you is normal. When you get really down,

this can be a blocker that prevents you from

being happy and successful.

There are lots of ways to think when bad

stuff happens that will help you not get so

down. One is "I am proud of myself".

Another is "I accept myself no matter what".

There are also lots of things you can do - talk

to someone, take a few relaxing breaths,

play your favourite music or help someone

out.

Our Term 4 student councillors are:

TA 1: Sam Phillips & Chayse Dunnet

TA 2: Caleb Fisher & Ivy Cooley

TA 3: Nick Morris & Letesha Swainson

TA 6: Jaxon Hawkins & Jimmy Dawes

Our student councillors are kept busy throughout the term monitoring the sports shed, emptying

the buckets for the worm farm, ringing the bell and representing their classes at special events.

Ms Lewis, Ms Drust and Mrs Marg Waters have been very busy sewing all of the Pre Primary’s Aussie Hero Laundry Bags. For those of you not familiar, Ms Lewis has been involved with the Aussie Hero Laundry Bags for many years. These bags are sent to serving members currently on deployment or peace keeping missions throughout the world. Our laundry bags are gifts to say thank you for their service and the sacrifice that the service asks of them and their families. They are not meant to be works of art, but works of the heart – I am sure you’ll agree that the Pre Primaries artwork sewn on the front makes them very special.
