Real Time Air Speed, Angle of Attack, Angle of Sideslip, and Altitude
The Micro Air Data System (µADS) is a complete solution for the acquisition and processing of air flow data with an unprecedented combination of size and accuracy. The µADS combines the functionality of our five-hole probes with our Micro Air Data Computer (µADC) to produce a fully integrated air data system that will greatly improve the performance and stability of unmanned aircraft used in research, commercial, or defense applications by delivering accurate air data in real time.
The µADC is a lightweight, compact, microprocessor-based embedded system consisting of hardware and software to calculate air data in real time. When paired with our Air Data Probe, the airspeed, altitude, and angle of attack and sideslip are measured with high accuracy.

5-Hole Air Data Probe
- Angle of attack & angle of sideslip range is +/- 20°
- High-accuracy NIST traceable calibrations
- Rugged stainless steel construction
- Straight and L-shaped geometries
- Optional internal heater for icing protection
- Optional integrated total air temperature sensor
- Custom mounts possible
The 5-hole Air Data Probe allows for calculation of the complete flow vector. Its comprehensive design improves on traditional air data solutions by eliminating pitch and yaw vanes, which have moving parts with inertial effects that introduce introduce inaccuracy and increase weight and response time.
