_THE PROBLEM
• Lack of knowledge about diabetes in the community,
especially young generation
• Many people do not aware that they may have
diabetes risk eventhough their sugarblood is still
normal and they don’t have family with diabetes.
_THE INSIGHTS
Diabetes is among the world top silent killer diseaseBut in their golden age, young people think that they are
“invincible” I do sport.. I can run
10km in 30 minutes.. I’m healthy – Maul, 22 years
old
No one in my family have diabetes, how can i get one? It’s not contagious

BUT…On the other hand, young people care with

Future well being..
They’ll looking for career advice, financial advice, romance advice, But few care about health advice, unless it is for diet/gym
Let’s shake their faith of their invincibility, that their health is not long lasting.. We sent them an advice using different way and
even that they might never think of…
_THE SOLUTION
_THE IDEA
Postcard from the futurea campaign to shake people’s faith whenever they think they are invincible in some
ways
1. We select a handful of target individuals we really know and feeling confidence with their health life
2. First we pick some live fact from our target that give them confidence.
3. Then we present the sudden realization of deteriorating health despite their best effort of having good lifestyle. And state that their greatest regret is not taking enough action to prevent diabetes
4.And finally we tell our target, that the sender is themselves from the future
_HOW IT WORKS
We feed their curiousity by leaving little breadcrumb in the postcard to follow..A URL to our campaign website www.postcardfromthefuture.org
The website will reveal the true intention of our campaign (raising awareness for early diabetes detection), act as information portal by providing less known fact about diabetes, and also give our target a chance to send a postcard from the future to their closest ones

Every single postcard received will be posted in social media assets and website. Every month we will choose the best participant (by likes) to get non-processed
voucher food or free medical check-up for one person
