Shul Events
We are proud to announce that our 55th Annual Dinner will take place on Wednesday, May 14th at Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus in North Dade. This year our theme is "In the Commu-nity". We will be celebrating the contribu-tions of some individuals that are committed to making a daily difference in our lives and community:
Commissioner Sally Heyman Rabbi Mordechai and Carol Fried
Rabbi Moshe and Jennifer Lehrfield
In honor of these wonderful families, we are compiling an Ad Journal which will be presented to them at the dinner and will include messages and tributes from many of their friends, family members, col-leagues and local organizations. We know that you would like to be included in this memorable Ad Journal. Please fill out the attached form and return it to us by May 4, 2014. We thank you in advance for your support and hope that we will be seeing you at the dinner.
An accounting is made of the gold, silver and copper donated by the people for the making of the Mishkan. Betzalel, Aholiav and their assistants make the eight priestly garments—the apron, breastplate, cloak, crown, hat, tunic, sash and breeches—according to the specifications communicated to Moses in
the Parshah of Tetzaveh.
The Mishkan is completed and all its components are brought to Moses, who erects it and anoints it with the holy anoint-ing oil, and initiates Aaron and his four sons into the priesthood. A cloud appears over the Mishkan, signifying the Divine Pres-ence that has come to dwell within

It was a ''heart-warming'' experience for the 20 or so who were at
the film presentation this past Motzei Shabbos. The girls (and some
boys...and a few moms...and a dad… and 1 grandmother!) were
mostly dressed for a pajama party, enjoyed some popcorn (thanks
Mrs. Groffman Sr.) and had a great time together! Thanks go to
Morah Penina for her help, to for some Brian Goldberg ''tech''
support, but mostly to Etti for making the whole event happen!
THIS SUNDAY, AT 10:00am, at the shul, Etti will be
leading the girls in making and designing ''custom-made
groggers'' for Haman-banging purposes...a small donation at
the door would be appreciated to cover the art-supplies.
THE NEXT SUNDAY,MARCH 9th, at 6:00pm,at the shul,
LET'S MAKE A DEAL is the event to be at! Children-and
adults- should come in costume, win prizes-everybody wins
something-and have a great time at this Purim-themed event!
It's $10 a child, or $15 for 2,for this event.
THE SUNDAY AFTER,S UNDAY MARCH 16th is
PURIM! !--and we will once again have a Megillah reading for
children upstairs, with some of it acted out....call me at
786-320-2562 for details on any of these events-or anything
