2. Audit your Digital Self

• Search social media• Search Logged In• Search Logged Out•What are your

security settings?• Twitter, SnapChat,

etc• KNOW what you

SHOW!

3. Where have you been?

Lets look at Google• Search your name• Use quotes• Use incognito modes• Google Ad Settings

The Internet knows you better than you know you

Can I be Ungoogled?

Yes, But… It can be hurtful, too. Find balance. But if you need to cover your tracks…• Know what's out there about you• Contact offending website• Do go for legal action• If the web site manager IS the bully, don’t email, send a letter• Change what you can• Request removal of info from Google• Be Proactive!

4. Recovering from a digital bully• Acknowledge that Cyber Bullying is Real• Mark your Courage• Let it go• Focus on bolstering your self worth• Keep in touch with someone you trust• Don’t but yourself in harms way BUT• Be Patient• Don’t ditch the digital world

Social media is the one tool that can truly give voice to

the voiceless.

5. Using Social Media to get a job. Harness your social media POWER!• Who are you online?• What are you posting?• Why do you post it?• Who is your current audience?• Who will be your audience? • YOUR FUTURE EMPLOYER!
