YOGA extraction arm – hanging version
ApplicationThe YOGA extraction arms are designed for dust and welding fume extraction as well as capturing fine dust particles. The pollutants are captured directly at the emission source, avoiding their expansion within the room and inhaling by people. The arms are manufactured in a hanging or standing version. The extraction arm can work independently, with a single extraction fan or connected to the main collecting ductwork with a central fan.
Structure
The YOGA extraction arm consists of following elements:• swivel with integrated shut-off damper,• hood made of plastic with integrated handle,• two pipe segments integrated by frictional joints,• gas springs to balance the weight of the pipe segments,
Operational useUse a wall bracket to mount the arm on a wall or column. Additionally, the wall bracket can be connected to a extraction fan or connection ferrule. Adequately adjusted frictional joints, along with the springs, provide convenient arm manoeuvring and position adjustment. The suction hood can be equipped with a halogen spotlight to light up the workspace.
Recommended volume flows for following arm sizes are: Ø 100 = 350 m³/hØ 125 = 700 m³/hØ 160 = 1000 m³/hØ 200 = 2000 m³/h

The devices guarantee high level of protection therefore theycanbeappliedinareas1(G)or21(D).Admissibletemperatureofthetransportedairis+70°C.
StructureYOGEX-L/Zextraction armsconsistoffollowingelements:

Superficial resistance <106 Ω. All steel elements ; pipes and stainless profile are made of 1.4301 materialaccordingtoPN-EN 10088, whereas screw materials, washers and rivets are of A2 material according to PN-EN ISO 7089. All the steel elements are joined together by copper wires that ensure the conductivity of the whole and conduct the electrostatic discharges to the grounding of the installation.

Application

Pipesegmentsaremadeofstainlesssteel,whereastheswivelelements are aluminum cast. The nominal diameter of thearms is 160 mm. The extraction arm is equipped with africtionaljointlocatedneartheswivel.
Operational useUse a Wall bracket to install the extraction arm on a wall orsupportingcolumn.Additionally,theextraction fan or ducting can be directly connected to the wall bracket. Thepipe segmentscanslidetelescopically, one segment can turn within the other segment,providing themost useful position of the suction hood. Adequatelyadjustedfrictionaljointgiveseasymanoeuvrabilitywiththearm.Thesuction hood is equipped with a shut-off damper to adjust theairflow.TheYOGB-L-3-3000 isadditionallyequippedwitha supportofthegasspring,improvingthemanoeuvrabilityperformance.

Application
The YOGA-ROL-TP extraction systems is meant for dust-gas contamination extraction at mobile workplaces. Additionally, it can be used for effective removal of exhaust gas emitted through exhaust pipe of vehicles not being in movement. Generally, the appliance can serve vehicles with a vertical exhaust pipe (directed upwards) as well as traditional vehicles with horizontal exhaust pipe. The extraction set can work with a fan mounted on a wall bracket or located on a roof. Additionally, the assembly can be connected to a collecting extraction ductwork.

Two rota�tional arms are connected together in a “broken”version (i.e. one arm is suspended at the end of the otherarm),whereas the vertical telescopicduct is fastenedat theend of the terminal rotati�onal arm. The segmented ver�ticaltelescopic duct provides posi�tioning of the hood in therequestedheightand it ispossibletoblock itbymeansofanadjus�tingcable.A hood is fastened at the telescopic duct through a quick-connector.Wehavea choiceof three sortsofhoods:YOGAhood to extract welding fumes, large extracti�on hood toremovewelding fumes or exhaust gas from ver�tical exhaustsystems and extrac�tion nozzle for gas removal from ver�ticalexhaustpipe.
Operational useBefore the start of the process, it is important to fastenthrough a quick-connector a suitable hood, adjustadequately the set of rota�tional arms, and then with anadjustmentcablesetthehoodinadequateheight.

Operational useDuring the welding the operator moves the YOGA extraction arm with the trolley along the suction duct. The hood of the arm ought to be adjusted in a distance ca. 30 cm from the welding point. Low movement resistances of the trolley and easy adjustment of the hood provides perfect manoeuvring of the whole system. After the completed work at one welding post, close the shut-off damper (placed at the hood) to improve the suction volume in the second extraction arm. Two extraction arms can be installed at one suction duct simultaneously.
