SISTERSHIP

Akoya is our fifth 50 metre semi-displacement aluminium yacht.

Her sistership, Satori, is one of the most highly rated of her size, winning

the prestigious Neptune Trophy at the World Superyacht Awards.

Page 4: Yn 17650 project AKOYA

Heesen designs and builds the most efficient aluminium hull-forms in the world. Innovative naval architecture provides an

impressive reduction in the power needed to achieve a given speed. Less power required means less fuel – a virtuous circle

that is just one of the advantages of Heesen technology.

The latest engines powering a streamlined shape above and below the water result in a yacht

with a top speed of 23 knots and a range of over 3.100 nautical miles.

With a highly distinctive curved superstructure from sea level to sun deck, Akoya combines sleek minimalism with advanced

technology. Continuous sheets of laminated triple glazing thermo bonded to the superstructure on the main deck create a dynamic

wall of seamless windows that complement the yacht’s flowing lines.

Page 6: Yn 17650 project AKOYA

Four clearly defined deck areas provide space for every

occasion. A foredeck for secluded relaxation and a vast

70 square metre sun deck that is impressive in both style

and proportion. Shaded dining is on the upper deck while the

multifunctional main deck terrace combines with the saloon

to create an impressive 25 square metre entertaining space.

Space has been optimised throughout: the highest possible internal volume under the 500GT threshold. Heesen ingenuity

always delivers on performance without any compromise in comfort, space and style.

SKY LOUNGE

Page 9: Yn 17650 project AKOYA

Interiors are by the acclaimed Italian designer Cristiano Gatto. Three materials have been selected for all interior surfaces:

teak, stainless steel and leather. Furniture and other details are custom-made. The combination of supple leathers contrasting

against the elegant shine of stainless steel detailing is highly contemporary Italian design at its very best.

MAIN SALOON

Page 10: Yn 17650 project AKOYA

The main saloon and sky lounge feature Gatto’s reinterpretation of Art Deco with the use of asymmetrical lines and 1930s

inspired furniture. The richness of the interior is heightened by the use of both soft white lacquered panels and natural teak

that has been oiled and honed to reflect the quality of the veneer.

Red Rosso Bulgaro saddle leather detailed with thick stitching adorns the cupboards, wall panelling and key items of bespoke

furniture. The passing of time will only serve to give warmth and character to the look and feel of this indulgent leather.

MASTER SUITE

Page 12: Yn 17650 project AKOYA

The master suite is set forward on the main deck. The use of polished Cappuccino marble in the bathroom perfectly matches the

soft colour scheme of the carpets, walls and ceilings throughout the yacht. Heesen has perfected the art of including heavyweight

marble without impacting on the yacht’s performance. Using a technique that demands tremendous precision the stone is honed

to a thickness of just 4mm. As light as a feather, as strong as steel.

MASTER SUITE

Page 13: Yn 17650 project AKOYA

Twelve guests sleep in six suites with a design style that continues the overall concept of teak detailing, concentric patterns

and red leather panelling. Additional suites are all on the lower deck and include a full-beam VIP with a very large ensuite

bathroom, two double and two twin cabins.

Heesen is recognised as the world leader in aluminium construction,

so it is particularly pleasing that our steel yachts also

consistently win major awards.

In one of the most modern

construction facilities in the world,

every aspect of every yacht is geared towards

achieving our exceptional standards of engineering.

Our 4.4 hectare Oss shipyard has nine sheds and five dry docks. Each year, over

four million parts are meticulously used in the construction of up to eight yachts.

For the quality, at the price, we believe Heesen yachts are the finest value in

the world. The current range includes aluminium and steel, displacement,

semi-displacement and the new revolutionary fast displacement.
