Movie Night

On the 11 November YMCA St Ives hosted a huge turnout of 49 kids for a fun filled movie night in

our DIY movie theatre. The movie goers set up boxes using boxes and wedges and enjoyed the

movie Moana.

This was a great opportunity for friends in different classes to get together and hopefully some new

friendships were formed.

Gymnastics Assessments

During week 8 and 9 of the school term YMCA St Ives gymnastics students completed their

gymnastics assessments in line with the YMCA syllabus. It was great to see our gymnasts displaying

all that they have learnt throughout the term and congratulations to those who graduated to new

classes where they will go on to further develop their skills.

Corpus Christi Christmas Fair

On Saturday the 25th of November YMCA St Ives spent the day at Corpus Christi Primary School in

support of their 45th annual Christmas fair. We hosted gymnastics activities and saw some familiar

faces that were able to show off their skills to their friends.

It was a great day with great weather and we really enjoyed being part of the great community

event! And thanks YMCA Epping for allowing us to use their marquee!

Recreation Games Day

Our Recreation games day on Sunday 10th December was a great opportunity to enjoy each other’s

company and celebrate an awesome year for our Colours and Stages gymnasts.

Levels Presentation

On Sunday 10th December our Levels Presentation celebrated the effort and achievements of all of our fabulous Levels gymnasts. Special congratulations go to the following gymnasts.
