description

We want to build tools and processes that help people learn from each other as they explore how to build collaborative and resilient futures. On Sunday August 28 we hosted a prototype sprint to explore these ideas, and this is some of the documentation from the sessions..

Who is our target group? Visualisation by Basti Hirsch- “Lots of broken/sad hearts that we can make happier” People who have low positive engagment that need boosting, and they need stories from near them, that feel accessible...not out of reach super talented. Some of those people are in the risk zone for destructive behaviour e.g. riots, while others are in the possibility zone for popsitive behaviour e.g social innovation. Those are the ones we want to reach, fundamentally positive but low in confidence and motivation/energy at the moment. Because that is what is feasible to achieve witth good results, within the time and resource budget for the project.

Its a story place not social network and might have game element i it. How to bring people into it. Needs to have good news in it. Is it possible, yes or no? If yes, how go about doing it- because it has been done before + story or link. if no due to which challenges?

I want to “set up a windmill in backyard” tweetable challenge. Come back to site following link, faced with slideshow of story stubs (Mark wants to do this, Maria wants to do that,...) in which protagonists/ trailblazers ask how to make this happen- what would you do next?, match with what they did next?. suggest a first step. If your suggestion is close to one that is already in there you are asked, what would you do next? then go deeper one level User is asked to respond- blank space. Analysis of what did or didnt happen- share your reflections.

You want to engage with story going on, two alternative pathways 1) share your own story or 2) help the person to keep building on their story, share your own advice (surface your embodied experience-based knowledge)
