Pioneer advances sorghum breeding technologyA research collaboration between Pioneer and the United Sorghum Checkoff Program has resulted in the discovery of two sorghum haploid inducer lines. We’re continuing to refine the DH creation process, which brings us closer to development of the doubled haploid. This will significantly accelerate the sorghum breeding process — and that means greater yield potential, faster than ever, for Pioneer customers.
