Y F C FA S H I O N 1 0 1 DRESSING FOR YOUR WEEK AT CAMP

LACK OF COOPERATION WITH THE ABOVE STANDARDS WILL BE SUBJECT TO CORRECTION AND WILL RESULT IN

THE CAMPER BEING ASKED TO CHANGE CLOTHES AND/OR POSSIBLE DISMISSAL.

WHAT EVERY CAMPER WISHED THEY KNEW BEFORE COMING TO CAMP...

Youth Fellowship Camp is a mission outreach of the Griner

Mennonite Church. Our main focus is to provide a fun and safe environment for Youth to encounter God.

Why do you need to dress this way?

To minimize distractions and keep our focus on the heartbeat of camp.

Respect for the diverse denominations that attend YFC.

Safety. Exposed skin is more likely to get sun-burned, bitten by bugs, etc.

Hair—if not worn up, should be gathered in back

Avoid apparel with offensive writing

or pictures.

Shirts with sleeves, covered midriff & modest

necklines

MODESTY PLEASE Please follow these

fashion rules anytime you are outside your

dorm during the week.

Especially for the ladies:

Prayer Veiling—Members of churches where the veiling is practiced are expected to wear one consistent with how they wear it at home.

Dress for the season One day may be extremely hot and the next on the chilly side. It may even rain. So come prepared.

Especially for the guys:

Long pants only— Both shirts & pants are to be worn outside of dorm.

Dresses, Skirts and/or Skorts—they should be loose fitting & come to the bot-tom of the knees when sitting or standing.

No shorts allowed.
